Lou Dobbs’ New Home?

The New York Times reported this week that Lou Dobbs of CNN and leader of The Independent Nation met with Roger Ailes of Fox News last month. Unnamed people familiar with the meeting told the Times, “Mr. Dobbs is a potential hire for the Fox Business Network.”
To those of a certain age, Dobbs is as remembered as host of Moneyline (the 7 p.m. lead-in to Crossfire) as he is for his outstanding independent show, and like Glenn Beck before him, he is increasingly out of place at the network Ted Turner founded. Both parties could do much worse.

It would be interesting to see where he would take the immigration debate with resources from FOX.
It is a move I believe that would be good for both If Dobbs moves to FOX at least he will have more viewers.

Religion does infect everything! Religion is a set of beliefs, Principles, and values that shape the decisions we make! The way we live and the way we treat others and everything around us!
EVERYONE HAS A RELIGION! The only question is WHAT IS YOUR RELIGION, Be it Atheism, Humanism, Agnostic, Christian, Buddhism, Islam, Etc? How you fit into these categories also has a myriad of variety. With in any one of these is as many differing beliefs as people on earth.
The point is is your religion profitable to you and the world around you?
It may seam profitable to you but if you are self centered it will destroy the lives of others and eventually if you are here long enough destroy your own as well!
If not your decedents will pay for your selfishness. Not to mention you will pay for eternity and not believing in it won’t change reality!
RELIGION was the foundation or this country, the very inspiration of it’s being it’s very conception was because of RELIGION!

My self and my family have been shunned or pushed out of several churches for challenging the pet doctrines. SO I can relate to the frustration from the Hypocrisy that plagues our society. The blame for the moral corruption in our nation can also be laid at the feet of the church ( Especially Christian church)
Whom Jesus charged with task of preserving society and holding back the corruption like salt holds back the growth of Bacteria! And a Jesus said when the salt losses it’s preserving ability it is good for nothing except to be cast into the street and walked on! Church as a whole has become a business with men competing for market share and using all manor or marketing schemes! However there are always a remnant of faithful kept by God for His Sons inheritance! AND NEVER FORGET It was true religion that made the US a Beacon to the world! True religion that our founding fathers spoke of as the only hope for real freedom for Humanity! True religion FREES US FROM OUR OWN SELFISH DESIRES, OUR SIN! If you aren’t free from your lust than you will be manipulated like a puppet on a string by those lusts!
THE LAST SEVERAL GENERATIONS HAVE FREED THEMSELVES FROM THE CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES THAT TAUGHT US TO CONTROL OUR PASSIONS!

John Adams: Religion Ensures Freedom
The Library of Congress has a vast repository of words by our Founding Fathers. They can be instructive. Here is a passage from John Adams that gives insight into some of his beliefs.

“Statesmen my dear Sir, may plan and speculate for Liberty, but it is Religion and Morality alone, which can establish the Principles upon which Freedom can securely stand…. The only foundation of a free Constitution, is pure Virtue, and if this cannot be inspired into our People, in a greater Measure, than they have it now, They may change their Rulers, and the forms of Government, but they will not obtain a lasting Liberty. They will only exchange Tyrants and Tyrannies. You cannot therefore be more pleasantly, or usefully employed than in the Way of your Profession, pulling down the Strong Holds of Satan. Corrupt men corrupt religion just as they do everything else not the other wat around!

Jesus will be looking for those who His Fathers nature when He returns, Those who strive to be Self controlled, Compassionate, Just, Patient, full of Love by nature! Who desire to do good to all men just He sends rain on the just and unjust alike to show His desire to love them and do good to them! No matter what there RELIGIOUS CATEGORY! I don’t believe He is so insecure that a misunderstanding of Who He is that will be cleared up in that instant is going to be the deciding factor of their fate!
NOT BELIEVING IN THE PRINCIPLES HIS FATHER LIVES BY AS DOE ALL WHO WILL BE LIVING WITH THEM FOR ETERNITY?

Many reach the same principles & values through logic and reason.. Religion asks you to take things on faith which always leaves doubts, whereas logic & reason form a sturdier foundation for any politico – economic system

I kind of like him hunkered down there at CNN. During his program hour, I turn from Fox broadcast and watch him. It will be nice to see him anywhere – at least keep him on air somewhere.
Is it just me.. or was it but about 10 or 15 years ago that he was considered to be very left… and now he is being considered somewhat middle ground. This is really worrisome for me as I would consider myself a Reagan Democrat (though my views are still changing and coming its own maturity still) though still farther left of Reagan in my opinion. Don’t we all think it’s about time that the entire political spectrum needs to move back to the right a bit more?
The Party system is corrupt. Unfortunately most voters only can read D or R on the ballot. This is how terrorists like ACORN get power.
I wish he’d be on Fox News (not Fox Business), because I can’t get that channel!

If Dobbs leaves who will be left at CNN the fraud Sanchez and Blitzed Wolf who is still crying about Kerry losing to GWB and still believes that Kerry was in Cambodia in 1968 during Nixon’s war except Nixon wasn’t president in 1968. This was missed during Kerry’s testimony in front of the Senate Lack of Intelligence Committee by both Republicans and Democrats who praised the traitor.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful if political parties were outlawed as terrorist organizations? Then voters would have honest choices.
I’ll second that about Shepard Smith. The worst dressed talking head and idiot, ahole ie. The New Orleans parking lot incident where, according to reports, he used his car to hit and move a female from a parking space she was trying to hold. What a Mississippi gentlemen.
I’ve sent him several worst dressed talking head awards at Fox. But he still loves those checkered brown suits, with a left wing point of view!
On a positive note I’d love to see Stewart Varney have an hour long money show on the Fox News network … or at least many more short segments.

I think Lou Dobbs has correctly determined that his days at CNN are numbered. His show is only minimally supported by the network and has thus seen its viewership dive. During the past few months, Lou Dobbs has really had to tone things down to make CNN at least marginally happy, but at the expense of making his program exceedingly bland. It is time for him to move to more a appreciative employer.
If Lou Dobbs is with CNN why should I trust him?
Most of the people on Fox today have come out of the mainstream media…
Fox has only recently begun to expand its business coverage…
