Half of Democrats Out To Lunch in the War Against Radical Islam and By the Way, Why Isn’t Hasan Being Water-Boarded to Find Out Who His Contacts Are?

November 11, 2009

rasmussen

On America’s Newsroom this morning, pollster Scott Rasmussen reported the results of a new poll that shows 60% of all Americans want the Muslim traitor Major Nidal Hassan tried in a military court for a terrorist act, while only 27% want it investigated by a civilian court as a criminal act (with Johnny Cochran clones waiting in the wings). But the vast majority of those understanding Hassan’s role in the Islamic holy war against America and the west are Republicans. When it comes to Democrats 50% have no idea that this was an Islamic jihad that threatens them directly. No real surprise here because that was the theme of Kerry’s 2004 campaign, of the Democrats’s sabotage campaign against the war in Iraq, of the left’s attack on Gitmo and determination to make it as difficult as possible to hold and interrogate religious fanatics bent on our destruction, and of Barack Obama’s administration. It is also the curriculum of our universities, including apparently the military university where only a year and a half ago, Hasan gave a lecture to a medical class in which he called for the beheading of infidels and added that they should have boiling oil poured down their throats.

But perish the thought that anyone should suggest water-boarding Hasan to find out his contacts. No, let’s just wait for the next nuclear Hasan to show up.

Put him up against the wall. Let the lead fly, preferably with square bullets.

There is an unconfirmed rumor that Gen Pershing, when he was in command of the Philippines, ca. 1900, lined up Muslim terrorists, tied them to stakes, brought out a pig, slaughtered it, dipped the firing squad’s bullets in the pig’s blood, executed all but one of the terrorists, and released the one to tell his buddies what happened. The rumor concludes with a brief comment “the terrorism stopped.”

We do know Bill Clinton had Osama in his sights and couldn’t pull the trigger. That seems to be a comunicable disease within his party. Now, let’s see how Obama handles the nut in Iran.
    God help us all.

The Left remains obsessed with, and focused on, its religious quest to create a global socialist utopia. Nothing else matters to them. With this frame of reference and its delusional perceptions, the left sees the Nadal Hasan’s of the world as just naughty, errant children who need love and understanding not punishment – make love not war. This non-punitive Dr. Spockian approach is infected with an ever-latent visceral hatred of realists who. instead, seek retribution for terrorist acts. That hypocrital hatred issues from the fact that such a vengeful perspective is a simultaneous rebuke of the delusional worldview of the Left. So it’s Conservatives, not murdering terrorists who are hated by the loony Left. That dainty Left should stick to writing poetry and leave the heavy political lifting to men who know how.

Thank you, David – I’ve been suggesting exactly the same thing to my friends since I heard that Hasan was in fact still alive. What a golden opportunity to extract valuable information. Given this administration’s clear lack of interest in gathering intelligence however, I’m not about to hold my breath. Who would even think of authorizing such a thing given Eric Holder’s willingness to prosecute officials involved in “torture” (what a sick joke) during the Bush years?

Hasan was clearly a lone nut. I don’t mind calling it islamic terrorism because what he did seems to have been politically/culturally/religiously motivated. But I seriously doubt he was in cahoots with anyone other than the voices in his head.

Can Attacks on a Military Base Constitute “Terrorism”?

If attacks on soldiers now qualify, how is it possible to exclude many American actions?

    By Glenn Greenwald

November 09, 2009 “Salon” — The incomparably pernicious Joe Lieberman said yesterday on Fox News that he intends to launch an investigation into “the motives of [Nidal] Hasan in carrying out this brutal mass murder, if a terrorist attack, the worst terrorist attack since 9/11.” Hasan’s attack was carried out on a military base, with his clear target being American soldiers, not civilians. No matter one’s views on how unjustified and evil this attack was, can an attack on soldiers — particularly ones in the process of deploying for a war — fall within any legitimate definition of “terrorism,” which generally refers to deliberate attacks on civilians?

The obvious problem with answering that question is that, as even the U.S. State Department recognizes, “no one definition of terrorism has gained universal acceptance” — despite the centrality of that term in our political discourse. In its 2001 publication, Patterns of Global Terrorism, the State Department did define “terrorism” to mean “premeditated, politically motivated violence perpetrated against noncombatant targets,” and in turn defined “noncombatant targets” to include “military personnel who at the time of the incident are unarmed and/or not on duty.” Only by accepting that definition (or one similar to it) could the attack on Fort Hood possibly be defined as “terrorism.”

Really?…Really? That’s what you are thinking? Wow!! And you needed to “cut and paste” an article from Salon to come up with that? I’m surprised you didn’t write that 9-11 was only an attack on biuldings, and that Glenn Greenwald doesn’t think attacking biuldings is terrorism.

Well, some civilians were DELIBERATELY wounded. I think the majority were medical personnel. And IT WAS NOT AN ATTACK FROM A UNIFORMED ENEMY FROM A COUNTRY WE WERE AT WAR WITH.

In any case, it was in NO way comparable to an act of war. It was a capital crime. Period.

These soldiers were not armed, weapons were not allowed on base (god knows how that ever happened, no weapons on a ‘Military Base’) and your little Muslim nut job knew it. I really don’t beleive he was on a ‘suicide’ mission either, just thought it was the right thing to do!

Long-drop method preset to generate a thousand foot-pounds torque, fatties don’t get dropped as long as skinnys for the same neck size. Hassan looks like a fatty, somewhere between 200 and 225 lbs, so we’re talkin’ a 4.4 to 5 foot drop, give or take, to snap that scrawny neck. It would take, maybe, an 8 or 9 foot drop to decapitate, although highly entertaining decapitation might be considered cruel and unusual punishment by bleeding heart liberals. Still, it would get the job done and the doctor wouldn’t have to waste any time checking for heartbeats. If done right the creep wouldn’t even have time for one Allah Akbar on his way down to Hell.

The primary problem with the term ‘Terrorism’ is its lack of neutrality in its everyday usage, and the fact that it is primarily used as a form of delegitimizing discourse, rather than an objective, descriptive term. You can see it here in ‘Avantretard’s’ emotional response to a legitimate discussion brought up by ‘Tee’ concerning terminology. And given the complaints aired on this site lately about the media’s terminology used to describe Hasan’s attack, it is certainly fair game to ponder it a bit. At least David Forsmark tries to disentangle the issue by discussing the specificity of the targets, the lack of an enemy uniform, and so on. There are two important things to remember here: 1) Terrorism, with the exception of state-sponsored terrorism like Libya in Lockerbie, the U.S. mining the Nicaraguan harbor, etc, is that it is a weapon of the weak. It may, however, have catastrophic consequences, to be sure. 2) Hasan’s type of attack is quite commonplace in other areas of the globe, and was certainly to be expected here. I actually expected it a number of years ago – so I was off only on the timing.
In terms of Horowitz’s rant, it’s rather amusing that he wants to attack the ‘liberal’ American University system, but then is forced to concede that Hasan’s speech, if he indeed gave it, ocurred not in the hallowed classrooms of Berkeley, or Columbia, but rather at a military university. In fact, his ‘chickens coming home to roost for the Left’ speech from a few days ago would be more accurate if it stated the truth – that the peculiar nature of the wars being fought (a decentered ideology not restricted to a particular nation-state) led directly to the attack. Finally, concerning the supposedly ‘PC’ military that allowed in Muslim fanatics, that issue has more to do with the transnational nature of our current mercenary military force. In fact, in addition to the many different nationalities represented, we have approximately 31,000 foreign nationals alone fighting for the U.S. military establishment.

Islam is the enemy here. Islam is the root cause of terrorism on earth. The real question is…

“What is it about the ideology of Islam that can at any time cause a mild mannered, peace loving, assimilated Muslim turn on the Kuffar(unbeliever) and kill them?”

    Another question:

“If the devout Muslim quotes from his book of hate the Quran, the reason why he/she is killing the unbeliever(Kuffar), why do we not believe them that this is their motivation?”

In my opinion, instead of speculating as to why Islam breeds murderous people, who have no problem calling what they do “Jihad”, it is time to look closely at the core motivating factor, the Quran, Hadith, and Sunna. Listening to Islamic apologists is self defeating and dangerous, we need to learn this for ourselves, and prevent this from happening again.

Far better for Muslims to feel offended, profiled and annoyed, than for another unbelieving American to be killed or maimed by a Jihadist screaming “Allahu Akbar!” as he/she unloads 100 rounds of lead into almost 50 unarmed people. Wake up people.

    Veterans Day Dereliction of Duty

At Fort Hood, Texas, Barack Hussein Obama gave a speech yesterday. That is pretty much what he does. He expressed his sense that “this is a time of war.” The words terror, terrorist, or terrorism did not appear on Obama’s teleprompter. The words Islam or Muslim did not appear either

Obama said that the massacre perpetrated by Major Nidal Hasan was “incomprehensible.” No, it was not. It should have been expected from a person communicating with al Qaeda. A Christian communicating with Billy Graham or the Pope? The acts would be unthinkable. A Muslim communicating with an Imam? Perfectly foreseeable.

How could this have happened? Political correctness has killed Americans. Obama needs to make this clear, but he did not, nor will he. Why not?

On the day of Major Hasan’s terrorist attack on America’s soil, Mr. Obama made the announcement by first giving a lighthearted and jovial “shout out” to his comrades in the fight for socialized medicine. Someone he calls “Joe Medicine” was given a hearty greeting before our Commander in Chief announced the massacre. Had this been Bush, we would be seeing it on a constant loop narrated by that braying jackass Keith Olbermann. How many times have you heard about this tactless act? Somehow our media has shoved this deeply embarrassing moment down the memory hole, but it speaks volumes about Obama’s attitude toward our troops. Then again, he is closely linked with Weather Underground domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Somehow Katie Couric has forgotten to mention that Bill Ayers wanted to kill US soldiers at Fort Dix in his days as a terrorist. Luckily, his comrades’ incompetence blew themselves up instead of our troops.

Today is Veterans Day, a day set aside to honor those who served our country in the military. They put their life at risk at the request of our political leaders. We owe them a debt of gratitude. Our political leaders owe them: they owe the veterans, the active duty military, and those who gave their lives (Memorial Day, 25 May) a duty to do everything they can to protect them.

Incredibly, General George Casey stated that the greatest loss would be to lose “diversity.” What a callous and thoughtless remark to make after 40+ soldiers were wounded and over a dozen killed. The great tragedy is the deaths of these courageous people. Diversity? These are the words of a bureaucrat, a man who cares more about advancing his career than the well being of those under his command. His statement is certain to cause pain to the survivors.

The “diversity” that he speaks of resulted in the promotion of a man who spoke of “killing infidels” at a medical conference, this while we are war with radical Islam. (I realize that the Obamas do not like the word “terror.” They prefer “man made disaster.”) Speaking of Obamacare, do not forget that Major Hasan was a doctor! Imagine the quality of healthcare professional we will get when the federal government is completely in charge!

How can these things be? The Left does not accept the world as it is. They seek to end the world as it is and remake it to their own liking and in their own image. For Leftists like Michelle and Barack Obama, America is just one nation among many. It is just as valuable as Paraguay or Laos. In fact, it is a far darker place because of its insidious history peppered with people like Columbus and Robert E. Lee. Only after the glorious 1960′s were people like the Obamas able to be proud, proud of people like Harvey Milk and H. Rap Brown and Maya Angelou. That old, weird Christian America is something to be erased and forgotten.

According their worldview, Islam is as peaceful as Christianity. They watched the movie Gandhi and believed that Hinduism is non- violent, not realizing that the Indian was using the tactics of Thoreau and that even today Hindus engage in acts of wanton violence against religious minorities as do Buddhists. Saudi Arabia and Iran are not hospitable places to either Christians or homosexuals. The worst human rights violations occur when the government is run by atheists (as in the USSR or communist China or National Socialist Germany). This is simple reality, but it does not conform to the mythology of the Left, so they must spout nonsense about “diversity” and put our brave troops in harms way, even in Texas.

That is a dereliction of duty.

Look at what is happening around the World in other Democratic countries where the liberal elites have been in power and blind themselves to the evils of radical Islam. Australia a attempt terrorist attack on one of it military bases by young Muslims living in Australia. Sweden allow Muslims into the country to give them haven from threats of persucation. What does Sweden now have a now, a Muslim gang problem with non-Muslim women being attacked are rape. Remember in 2005 the riots in Australia against the Muslim gangs were because of the rape of young Australian women by Muslim gang bangers.

This so called Major Hasan need to be put on the rack and water board to find out who his contacts are. There is more to this than meets the eye. Remember this the death toll is actually 14 not 13. Since a young Enlisted Woman that was killed was with child when Hasan cowardly murder her. That baby counts as a murder also.

That this took place on a military base and was performed by a military officer against other military personnal should preclude the use of civilian courts. The UCMJ should, if I remember correctly the protocol, have sole jurisdiction.

Note to Elvisnixon; excellent comments but I’m compelled to add one thing you omitted. All this talk is good, but in the long run, is anyone going to DO anything about it? Or will Hasan, as many of you have stated, most likely go unpunished (the way he should be punished), paving the way for others of his persuasion to repeat the act, only perhaps on a more grander scale? Are we just going to sit and talk and discuss and watch our country crumble before our eyes? The “land of the free and the home of the brave”??? Where are the “brave”? brave MEN???? It took a woman to bring Hasan down. What were the men doing? Where are the MEN (the real “John Wayne” guys?)? Sigh.
