TO: George Soros FROM: Your accountant
I have to ask one more time: are you sure you’re getting your money’s worth?
I go over there today and that Eric guy is back with the typos:
Clearly the question on the table today isn’t whether Fox News is “fair and balanced.” (Almost nobody think [sic] it is.) It’s whether Fox News still even [sic] resembles a legitimate news organizations [sic].
No offense if he’s your wife’s cousin or something, but George — seriously? Did you lose a bet with Podesta? Media Matters is supposed to be looking for other peoples’ mistakes, not making its own.
Anyhow, Eric’s got hold of some new study that says Fox News is “fair and balanced.” OK, fine. The study supposedly only looks at 30 minutes of Fox at a time. So Eric goes:
Yet from that tiny, almost laughably small 30-minute daily sample, Lichter draws sweeping conclusions about whether a 24-hour news channel is “fair and balanced”?
George, I hate to break this to you but: that’s what goes on at Media Matters every day. And your people don’t even say a few words about the “tiny, almost laughable small” video clips they show. I mean, is this here an actual thing?
Jacoby says whether “Obama likes it or not, it’s America he represents more than himself”; Carlson replies “Bingo”
Really? George, you’re paying kids to watch tv, and not even bother adding some comments. I keep expecting to see a Snidely Whiplash moustache Photoshopped on Hannity’s face one day.
My professional advice to you is to close this Media Matters down and put the money into something half-decent. I hear gold’s pretty hot right now. Who says…? Uh, just a guy. You don’t know him.
