Poor Al Gore – Debunked By the Very Internet He Created

December 3, 2009

-

After years of listening to a bloviating Al Gore, and his obtuse band of Hollywood disciples, preach to us all about mankind’s ravenous destruction of the natural world, top climate researchers have been caught with their thermometers in the cookie jar… or, something like that.

Not only have top climate researchers been “manipulating” data to support their theories of global warming, they have also thrown out much of the original data!

“Why would you throw out raw data from the 80s? I still have Penthouse’s from the 70s – laminated.”

That’s right Stewart! And I have a salon-size, “33% More Free” can of Aqua Net waiting to make a comeback.

Yes – the practice of behavioral control by guilt is once again the sole purview of the Catholic Church. All you global warming, low-emissions, carbon-footprint freaks will have to find some other shtick.

While I’m at it, get a load of this, all you greenies –

  • I drive an SUV that gets 11 miles to the gallon, highway
  • Every now and then, I throw recyclable containers in the regular trash can
  • Sometimes, I throw cigarette butts out my car window

Watch Jon Stewart break it down, as only he could. (Click on photo.)

Wait kids – there’s more. The Wall Street Journal posted entire emails from this hacking incident at http://bit.ly/7lX0Kc, but here are a few gems from the treasure trove –

“The two MMs have been after the CRU [Climate Research Unit] station data for years. If they ever hear there is a Freedom of Information Act now in the U.K., I think I’ll delete the file rather than send to anyone. Does your similar act [FOIA] in the U.S. force you to respond to enquiries within 20 days?—our does! The UK works on precedents, so the first request will test it. We also have a data protection act, which I will hide behind. Tom Wigley has sent me a worried email when he heard about it – thought people could ask him for his model code. He has retired officially from UEA so he can hide behind that.  We also have a data protection act, which I will hide behind.”

– Phil Jones, director of the University of East Anglia’s Climate Research Unit and one of the world’s leading climate scientists, in a 2005 email to someone named “Mike”

“Ammann/Wahl – try and change the Received date! Don’t give those skeptics something to amuse themselves with.”

“… I’m providing these for your own personal use, since you’re a trusted colleague. So please don’t pass this along to others without checking w/ me first. This is the sort of “dirty laundry” one doesn’t want to fall into the hands of those who might potentially try to distort things…”

“I’ve received lots of helpful suggestions regarding improvements to the Figures. I’ll try to produce revised versions of the Figures tomorrow.”

Al Gore will be moving from the “A” list lecture circuit now. He will have to join the ranks of “9/11 government conspiracy” crowd and share billing with Martin Sheen. That’s 2 1/2 Men for sure.

Hey Nixon, you have to admit that Sheen was pretty good in Apocalypse Now. Gore is already a has been, no need to bother. Who the f— listens to him anyway?

Does anyone still french-kiss? After his performance at the Dem convention, I doubt it.

Thank God I missed that visual!! Hearing about it is horrid enough.

Marylou, my comment was tongue in cheek, my tongue her cheek.

The leftist agenda isn’t as a matter of principle subject to empiricle verification. I don’t foresee this revelation having a significant impact on any forthcoming legislation or Al Gore’s popularity on the green talk circuit. The own Washington and they’re going to try to get as much of their cult projects passed before their reign ends in 2012.

There are those that have known that this was a hoax from the start and don’t really care about the earth. Their real purpose is just to advance socialism in the US and one world government internationally.

Once it became apparent that socialism is their objective, one by one, they shall be removed rather explicitly.

Al Gore has already been convicted in the court of public opinion. He’s a profiteer condeming Capitalism while enjoying its benefits.

Another benign outburst from Howard Dean solidfies his demise which for some reason was slowed due to the fact that the rest of his clan showed up waving their marxist manuals almost overwhelming us. The one thing they forgot to consider is the fact that the rest of us are not stupid.

This entire global warming sham is a crime. It has altered our lives like you can not believe. Billions and billions of dollars taken from one hand and given selectively to certain few others. What a travesty. What a crime!

No one says Boo – thanks to Mass media types who gloss over big deal events such as this.

Al Gore, is just another Hollywood buffoon who also happens to be in politics. He and all the Hollywood Elite (Michael More Suzzan Sarandon Sean Pencil and the like) are self serving idiots who love to step in front of a live mic.

I blame the media too for constantly elevating these elistist dopes to a higher pedestal. They all belong at the bottom of the ladder with the slugs and worms.

I wish we could somehow flush all the Hollywood elite blowhards and the crooked politicians and the crooked wallstreeters down the TERLET. I would be the first to stand up and say GOOD RIDDANCE TO BAD RUBBISH!”

Cool post, starts out great…Woah there! Hold the phone!

What is wrong with this picture?

“I drive an SUV that gets 11 miles to the gallon, highway
Every now and then, I throw recyclable containers in the regular trash can
Sometimes, I throw cigarette butts out my car window”

That list is just a bit incongruous! I mean really, it is about like someone saying:

I sometimes steal money from my kids’ college fund and use it for booze
Every now and then I don’t tip well
    Sometimes, I fart in public

The first item in each list is so NOT in the same league as the others it is ridiculous.

I am first in line to stand against stupid “environmentalist” attitudes. But, growing up in Los Angeles, and SEEING and FEELING the difference after teh Clean Air act got going puts the whole smog/car thing on a VERY personal level for me.
Karen, I d not know your generation or your location but I would like to ask if you have memories of Summers where every physically active day felt like a mild to severe asthma attack? Did you ever walk of a plane from Hawaii as late as 1985 and TASTE the air at LAX when you walked outside? Karen, haven’t you noticed that depsite many more people on teh road the air is BETTER than when I was 12? a LOT better.

Karen, do you work for a construction company or have a REAL reason to drive that monstrosety? Do you feel that it is morally neutral to waste a limited resource simply because you can afford to, and it will not cause global catastrophe if you do?

Not recycling is hardly a crime, though I defy anyone to show that it would NOT be better to do so when possible. As well, throwing a cig out of a car is moot given that they decay so rapidly that you can hardly find more than a few at a time on the side of the freeways even here in L.A.!

You don’t need to be a rabid Leftist however, to feel that proudly wasting a limited resource does NOT fall under the label of harmless eccentricity. Personally I put it at the same moral level as the Leftists who shut down a hydro-electric project to protect a minnow (snail darter, 70′s).

      Wow. Uhhh, tongue-in-cheek. Relax.

I doubt Jon Stewart has actually saved and laminated Penthouse magazines from the 70s.

The prophets of disaster have no sense of humor, or appreciation of sarcasm. Professor Doom and Doctor Gloom wouldn’t know a fact, or a joke if they stepped on it. The lack of humor and the lack of scepticism is shown in the plague of foul language and screaming in your face lack of manners predominant with the save the world cult by killing people.

Jon Stewart is rapidly becoming a favorite for me.
