Gee, I Wonder Why Marc Lamont Hill Changed His Twitter Page’s Background

Marc Lamont Hill's New Twitter Background

So here’s the question of the day: why did Fox News contributor Marc Lamont Hill change the background of his Twitter page from that of cop killer Assata Shakur to boxing legend Muhammad Ali?

Could it have anything to do with being challenged on this by David Horowitz and AIM’s Cliff Kincaid?

There can only be two possible explanations for Hill’s change of image:

1. He’s come to realize that it’s wrong to support a revolutionary fugitive who’s currently being sheltered in Fidel Castro’s Police State.

2. Similar to former Green Jobs Czar and 9/11 Truther Van Jones, Hill is attempting to cover up the radical ideology he actually embraces in order to appear “moderate,” reach the masses, and continue collecting checks from Fox News.

Don’t bet the house on #1.

    However, that’s only a slight improvement…

Ali was a racist who spoke before the KKK representing the Nation of Islam to tell the Klan the Nation agreed with them on inter-racial marriage.

He didn’t improve anything. He moved from the controversial to the slightly less controversial figure. Or he has ” black hero of the month background” club.
He’s so narrow-minded product of the pop-culture that to put a leader like, say, MLK jr. on the background probably seems to him too old-fashioned.

Gee, if he wants to suck up, why not pub O’Reilly’s pug on the wall. Better yet, how about David Horowitz…LOL

both are distasteful, too bad the public is unaware of Muhammad Ali’s true persona.

    I love the comments.

Here’s a novel background image idea. How about the American flag?

Attempting to listen to and decifer his staccato delivery of radical Progressive ideology mixed in with generous amounts of hip-hop culture and his brand of black liberation philosophy always left me feeling uneasy. Combined with the Cheshire cat grin, he at times is creepy and gives the impression of having a much darker more sinister depth to his beliefs than he expresses (on the Bill O’Reilly show). I now turn the channel.
