A Suggestion for SNL’s Next Obama Skit

October 9, 2009

Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi addresses the 64th session of the General Assembly at United Nations headquarters, Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009.

Saturday Night Live got into big trouble for its opening skit last week. Here’s a proposal for their show tomorrow night: Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Let him have Moammar Qaddafi give his acceptance speech. (After all, Obama is Qaddafi’s “son.”)

Qaddafi’s acceptance speech would take the entire show

    (that could be funny)

I would add a drunken Hugo Chavez storming the stage and shouting that the prize should have gone to Beyonce.

Obamas’ speeches, although more coherent, are just as substantive.
