I’m just worried that Hill getting fired is just going to give the media leftists more idiotic slander ammo against FOX

“You see they fired him just like they canned Colmes!” “another ultra-conservative bigotry move by FOX” “RACIST” etc.

I doubt that Hill will cause much of a stir. There are serious leftists who would fare far better than Hill on Fox News. Dr. Hill was practically a joke during his appearances, and was a credit to no one.

    More idiotic slander ammo?

Rahm Emanuel went on CNN this morning and said this: “The way to look at it, and the way we — the President looks at it and we look at it, it’s not a news organization so much as it has perspective. And that’s a different take. And more importantly is not have the CNNs and the others in the world basically be led in following Fox, as if that, what they’re trying to do is a legitimate news organization in the sense of both sides, a sense of a valued opinion.”

When the President and his staff are against you who cares what CNN, Media Matters, etc. think.

At least Fox News was above board enough to get rid of Dr. Hill. CNN and MSNBC would simply shuffle such a person around until their contract expired. Hill was an insult to his own side.

I love that Obama and his bullies are attacking Fox, because it is the wrong way to go. It will be interesting to watch their reaction when some other now in-the-tank network turns on this them. What will they say then? What will they do then? In politics some portion of the population is always against you, and the onus falls on the politician to learn to live with that fact or get out of politics. But when you are an empty suit, I guess you can’t do that given how perilously close you are to deflation and collapse.

Obama began bullying Fox news about 6 months ago. But, no one jumped on board with Obama. As a result, the administration is just getting louder about it. This strategy will only backfire. Everyone is so sick of Obama, his Chicago style politics, the Czars and especially Anita Dunn. Each attempt by Obama and/or his administration to split, results in increased alienation and anger by the American people. Knew it was a matter of time before Obama tried again to hound Fox. Then, low and behold, in walks Czar Anita Dunn, Rahm and Axelrod, into the picture! Yep, this is where our tax $$$$ is going. Paying Czars and others, to stir more Obama propaganda, Chicago style!….Obama’s Behaviorist Czar – is not performing well. Bad advice encouraging Obama to smear Fox news. Guess as far as the communist Obamamites are concerned, the war is on.

Everyday, this administration has one or more bizarre outburst. This administration is an embarrassment to all of us decent, hard working, tax paying, patriotic Americans.

      Dear Kevroc,

To be sure, these are great stats, but let’s not forget to add all of the numbers for CNN, MSNBC, CNBC and HLN together, then the numbers of CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, also most of the daily newspapers and weekly newsmagazines, along with the History Channel, Discovery Channel, National Geographic and others must be added to get a true picture of the what Fox is up against in their efforts to report “fair & balanced” news.

It will be interesting to see if the White House’s attack on Fox will work out as well as their attacks against Rush. Fox, like Rush will be laughing all the way to the bank. Watch for their numbers to go even higher as more and more independents and moderates fall away from obama. Gotta love the irony in the democrat’s childish, petulant behavior. They are truly in an echo chamber.

David Swindle on Marc Hill and Fox:

“He should never have been hired,” you stated, and I agree. But finish the thought, please. Hill was hired probably because he is black, and that makes a difference in the argument. That is not a racist comment I have made, nor is it racial in content. Call it what you like, however, but please do not be afraid of it, as too many in this country are. Surely it is right for Fox to have diversity of comment and commentators, and Fox, as well as all journalists, should not hesitate to say so. Pussy-footing just exacerbates the black/white division in the United States while giving those who would exploit the topic more fuel for their ill-conceived and usually self-promoting agendas. Cases in point: Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.

He’s already expressed the thought you’re making when he first called him out as Fox’s Affirmative Action Baby:

I couldn’t type fast enough or long enough to cover the 30 minute rant I can do on the RACISM Sharpton & Jackson have have gotten away with over the years. When it is used, RACIST is a word that should indicate a serious character flaw. Thanks, in large part, to the 2 REV’s (I’ve been looking for their churches for years)the word now carries the same shame as being called a “twinkie head”.

Welcome to News Real, you’re gonna love it here!

Thank you, politicalmoxie. Looks like a good site. You certainly can pick ’em in Sharpton and Jackson, two free-loading big spenders who have used the race card and other racial tools to amass fortunes which, apparently, are vast. All you have to do with Jackson, for instance, is to look at his family’s history in Chicago business/politics/community organization, and you will get the stink from when Jackson held hostage Budweiser, resulting in his son getting the largest beer distributorship around. And he still has it, of course. Evil is that man’s middle name.

I blame Bill O’Reilly for bringing in Marc lamont Hill. Bill is soft on Obama and getting soft in the head. What qualification did Bill see that convinced him that this guys opinion matters?

Qualification? Being b lack, James, but Hill was taken on by O’Reilly show under the guise of a Ph.D. But the advanced degree is in RAP, isn’t it? BOR fooled a few for a while, and maybe it has paid off for him because of the stir it has caused. Ratings, my friend. BOR is like many of his ilk: an opportunist who seemingly would do much to get his ratings.

Dr Marc Lamont Hill is the perfect example of a Marxist produced by our institutions of higher education which have been infiltrated by Communist professors and Marxist dogma over the past 55 years. This dogma combined with the moral decline of American youth over the years, plus the promotion of false values via the entertainment industry have produced the decline of our country and the devalued free market Capitalist system. This America of ours must be saved from the evils of despots, Chicago thugs, ACORN, SEIU and all the other tax payer funded Marxist organizations hell bent on the destruction of this great Nation. Knowledge is Power, Words are Power! The awakened Americans must spread the word of freedom and truth to our younger generations who have been dumbed down in our public schools.

  13. October 19, 2009 6:34 pm

And who is David Horowitz again? I’m sure you wouldn’t find any African American on the show to be qualified to speak on any subject. Why is Glenn Beck allowed to continue his racist and unpointed views on Fox?

      October 19, 2009 9:59 pm

      dp,

Please back up your claim that Beck is a racist with some factual evidence.

These baseless claims are horrendous. Calling someone a racist is no small thing. It is heinous personal attack. I didn’t approve of Beck calling Obama one without proof either FWIW.

I’m tired of people crying “racist”. Please do not do this without a valid claim. It is cheap, ugly and very offensive.

Foxnews has been fair & they needed to fire Lamont Hill because that dude was dangerously over the edge. BTW, foxnews canned Edde Hill during the elections. And Edde was a conservative.

I went to Lamont Hill’s tweeter site, at http://twitter.com/marclamonthill
    And he tweeted the following:

“If anyone called me today in the afternoon, I didn’t get your message. My blackberry crashed. I still don’t have internet…about 3 hours ago from web ”

Now, personally I think he is ducking & dodging Swindle’s messages. How the hell can a Professor of a University not have internet & a have a blackberry out of service. Its not believable. Furthermore, how the heck was he able to do his tweets w/out some kind of online service.

“Now, personally I think he is ducking & dodging Swindle’s messages.”

Of course. You think if he’s going to scrub his websites and delete his myspace he’s going to engage us in debate? He was actually doing the smart thing by trying to ignore us. In all likelihood the whole controversy should have just blown over and he would have continued as if nothing had happened. We got LUCKY.

      Nice blog btw.
