Media Matters Admits Racist Rush Quotes “Were not Necessarily Accurate”

Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh

Fake but accurate! Today, the indispensible “Radio Equalizer,” Brian Maloney, has the scoop. On a radio program yesterday, Media Matters‘ Karl Frisch and liberal host Stephanie Miller had the following exchange:

MILLER (3:36): He (Limbaugh) made a big deal out of you know that people had gotten those two quotes about what was it, slavery and James Earl Ray? (Miller laughing) And so those two out of a lifetime of documented racist comments he didn’t say.

KARL FRISCH: You know, in fairness to Rush, those two out of literally dozens of racist things were not necessarily accurate. We were never able to find them. We’ve had people call us trying to find it. We don’t know where they came from. They could just be Internet apparitions. But you know, that being said, anyone who wants to know how racist he is, we’re happy to give them other examples.

MILLER: In fact we always send people to you guys because you guys are obviously the most reputable around, in terms of you always make sure everything’s sourced. So, if it is on there you know it’s true. So, you know but hilarious isn’t it how Rush is whining about this?

In fact, conservative bloggers (who aren’t on George Soros‘ payroll) claim they’ve sourced these “internet apparitions” to the I.P. address connected to a liberal New York law firm.

I can’t find a retraction or apology on the Media Matters site, but will keep looking.

Media Matters never claimed those quotes were real — or reported them at all, in fact — so there’s nothing to retract. Pretty simple, really.

Once again the gutter snipes at Media Matters proves that truth does not matter to them. I have to wonder how these people go home at night and look there kids in the face or them self in a mirror knowing they have given up there integrity , honor and decency for a pay check. Glad I never had to do that to support my family. You could almost feel sorry for them but not quite.

It seems to me that if they were to put together enough quotes from Rush that show he is racist, that they wouldn’t necessarily prove that he is a racist, but would at least give us an idea of what Media Matters considers to be a definition of racist.
It seems today that a racist is just anyone with light skin colour. It’s not a behaviour or an opinion anymore.

Media Doesn’tMatter: “The quotes may not have been true but, they could have been. Like, say, in the Bizarro universe, yeah that’s the ticket.”

I am hoping that Limbaugh takes his “whining” to court and is made somewhat whole for the repeated, fabricated comments made by friends of Media Matters. At what point did that normal, democratic, political philosophy become an intolerant, belligerent, tangled, religious belief- supported by a number of convenient vicious propaganda tools?

Rush has been on the air over 20 years. If the Left were able to compile real quotes about his racism, they would have done it long ago.

    Jack,
The most interesting operative word here is “necessarily”. Words by pathological liars are
frequently couched in nebulous and obtuse terminology. And to answer your question, they
go home at night smug and very comfortable in their ideology, and that the results always justify the means. You attribute values of honesty that you hold to on to those that never view truth, honesty, honor or integrity. For me personally, it is always interesting to look into the people that have so embraced the success of an ideology (socialism/communism) that the surrender of personal integrity and inner peace has become an accepted norm. And placing Media Matters in the same sentence with gutter snipes, is an insult to gutter snipes everywhere (LOL).

The coolest thing in this is for Rush to sue every one of those bastards and end up with millions of George Soros’s money. Hey Hey give it up for George and his minions for being so dishonest and stupid at the same time.

Whether or not it is “cool”, Rush should sue because it may set up a precedent that others will “think” before making such rash comments, statements, or quotes that are not TRUE. There are more and more quotes that are not true and if those quoting are not stopped, this will continue on and on…..Yes, Rush should sue….and sue…and sue..

Part 2 then Rush could buy his NFL team outright without those racists idiots that seem to get their way.

That’s the way with the Media; they have become a tool for deception and scandal. The Obama group are of the same ilk and deserve to be tried and dis-banned from public life for life!
