Anita Dunn’s Intolerance Must Be Confronted

October 27, 2009

dunn

The creation and defense of a tolerant, inclusive society was the Founding Fathers’ objective. They wrote it into the constitution.

However, to maintain a tolerant society, there is something that we cannot tolerate: intolerance. Ideologies which seek to dominate over others cannot be allowed to grow.

My dear friend and colleague Jamie Glazov has recently put forth an interesting proposition: Anita Dunn must be held accountable for her comments praising communist killer Mao Tse-Tung. This issue cannot just be allowed to die down.

In promoting Mao as anything but history’s greatest mass murderer, Dunn was promoting intolerance. She was promoting control and domination. This cannot be tolerated.

Is it a coincidence that Dunn both chose to reference Mao and head up the Obama administration’s anti-Fox efforts? Of course not. In a tolerant society the challenges of political opponents like a handful of Fox News’ commentators would be answered. They would not be marginalized. But such a society is not one that Dunn appears to champion.

As such NewsReal is launching its “Chairman Dunn: Stand-Up Comedian” campaign to keep this issue going until Dunn is held accountable for her words and actions. This page will serve as an archive for all of our previous Anita Dunn/Chairman Mao coverage as well as those to come.

I applaud the effort to make these people accountable for what they promised and what they are trying to deliver, by force. We can also make them accountable at the ballot box. In the meantime, they will ignore anyone who does not agree with them, not answer reasonable and clarifying questions on their motives. Good move, this, though.

      Ballot box?

Dunn is another of these unelected “officials”.

These appointed positions must stop. I don’t see how it is allowed to happen. Anyone who creates policy or regulations should be chosen by the people. Not a single person. These people are assisting in governing our land and we don’t know who the heck they are.

Is this a Democracy or a King’s Court?

It all starts at the top, Kevroc, and they ARE elected — through the ballot box.

I understand what you mean Jac, I just don’t agree with the notion that whoever we vote in at the top, has the right to choose his/her special minions. We select Congress and Reps.

Conceivably, we could elect a great figurehead and he or she could be in with this dark, secretive and terrible crowd and once in office they appoint these nefarious people to high positions of authority.

          How are these people paid?

Is there a cap on how many of these czars there can be?

I’m with both of you, Jac and Kevroc. I can understand the rationale behind a Czar for a special project, limited in both scope and duration. It made sense, I think, to have a special coordinator for the Y2K preparations, for instance. I don’t think that he should be able to hire or fire anybody in the private sector, set wages or salaries, or anything else. He should just be an information coordinator.

            Kevroc writes:

            Gee. Ya think?

I really did not see this coming, and now I don’t know how to stop it. I’m sorry if I sound a little snarky. The truth is, it’s breaking my heart to see what’s happening to my country.

I understand your concern well, because I have the same, Kevroc, but I suppose we have to trust the system if it is headed by a man or woman with high morals, who is determined to do what is better for this country and for its people. So we agree, mate.

But the system is currently NOT headed by a man with high morals, nor is he determined to do what is best for this country. He is trying to circumvent the Constitution at every turn, and to replace capitalism with socialism. I am judging by his own words, his own deeds, and by the people with whom he surrounds himself.
I never liked Clinton or his policies, but I never thought he was trying to destroy the country. Obama is, and I am truly afraid for my country.

I agree, Auntie, that we have a terrible situation in this country at this time. We can only hope that more discerning voters will show up at the polls in 2012, select a qualified and honest man or woman to lead the U.S. back to its rightful place in the world. God knows we need some sanity if we are to survive.

One of the amazing things about holding him up as someone she looks up to is that his policies were an absolue failure. Apart from being a mass murderer he impovrished the population that was fortunate enough to survive.
Their recent “prosperity” is a result of Deng’s policies that are a direct contradiction of Mao’s vision and had to wait for his death to be implemented.

Remember that once a lot of Americans thought pretty highly of Stalin. He was just a big fuzzy bear of a sweetheart doing a terribly difficult job, and if he had to murder a few gazillion people to do it…. well, if you want to make an omelet…. There were a lot of Americans (including Lindbergh, for pete’s sake) who thought Hitler was a swell fellow. And Mussolini, whatever his failings, at least he kept the trains running on time.

I can understand how young people could be attracted by the abstract idea of socialism. I know, it’s a lousy system, it doesn’t work, it honors none of the values that make a truly great country work. But lots of young people go through a pretty stupid phase, and the idea of “fair outcomes” can be pretty appealing to a half-baked mind. So we watch them and mentor them, and most of them turn out pretty well.

What I can’t understand is how a grown person of any generation could find anything to admire in a murderous, bloodthirsty, evil dictator who succeeds in basically destroying the nation he’s supposed to be leading. Where is the appeal? I really don’t get it. Anybody?

    • October 28, 2009 3:23 am

Well said, AuntWie. My guess is something an old, reformed socialist once told me: stupid young people grow up to be stupid old people. Age does not guarantee wisdom.

“Comedy grows out of the barrel of a gun?” Chairperson Anita

    • October 28, 2009 9:26 am

Ha-ha! And in Dunn’s case, her comedy grows out of a U-shaped barrell pointing back at the one squeezing the trigger. Oh that we should be so lucky!

Here is what one top REPUBLICAN has to say about ObaMao appointees:
“Senator Mike Enzi (R-Wyoming) believes that [the] president is due some deference when it comes to choosing nominees — that’s one of the consequences of the last election.”

So we even have REPUBLICANS telling us to roll over and play dead while ObaMao and his communists, socialists, facists and lunatic friends fundamentally change America. Cass Sunstein is just one in a long litany of these far-left radicals and kooks..look at others like..Mark Lloyd, Carol Browner, Craig Becker, John Holdren, Dalia Megahed, Anita Dunn and of course Van Jones who even tho he is not officially part of the ObaMao regime he works for groups that provide inaccurate and false information in the form of film and art to public schools.
‘Deference’ is not an option. You are are either with us or you are against us … and right now we have a regime of Democrats and Republicans in Washington that is against us. But, if you look more closely we have a lot of these folks in city and county governments all around us. When politics get local a lot of the time you hear said in ‘deference’; “Of course they’re crooked but, what are you gonna do ?” or “At least they’re OUR crooks.”. Crooks belong in jail or shackled at the ankle and tethered at home … not in City Hall or the County Courthouse much less the White House or Congress.

She is an authority leading kids to believe, “Mao tse Tung was a great leader”. However, if the kids end up getting curious and reading about him, they will see what a nut this woman is.

I hope Dunn gets so much pressure that she is almost in tears. She must be accountable for her Mao obsession. The Dunn who I can’t wait until she is DONE- has already made a big univeral fool out of herself. She will die slowly of disgracing herself with the american public-she doesn’t need a gun. Her words have killed her.

Dunn the dumb, who comments on nun
Who thinks she is a hon, but should be on the run
She speaks great of Mao, the mass killing dude
But Dunn who are you trying to delude?
