Democrat: Alan Grayson’s “One Fry Short of a Happy Meal”

October 28, 2009

How far Left is MSNBC?

  1. So far Left it’s fallen off the Nielsen ratings; and
  2. So far Left its favorite guest is being called crazy — by his fellow House Democrats.

According to Politico, when someone asked  Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-NY, about colleague Alan Grayson — who made a name for himself by saying Republicans want Americans to “die quickly” — Weiner responded incredulously, “Is this news to you that this guy’s one fry short of a Happy Meal?” A professed “progressive,” Rep. Weiner is pretty far-Left himself, making his condemnation of Grayson’s hate speech more significant.

According to The Huffington Post Weiner has apologized, but for once, he spoke the truth. Grayson’s over-the-top rhetoric made him MSNBC’s favorite Democrat, giving him numerous (albeit low-rated) venues to spew his brand of left-wing venom — something of a Don Rickles-meets-Che Guevara for the latte belt.

In addition to saying, on the House floor, that Republicans want you to “die quickly” and likening American health care to the Holocaust, Grayson the Boy Wonder has compared himself to Jesus and flopped on Hardball with his Dick-Cheney-is-Dracula riff. He moved on, saying Republicans could win “a Nobel Prize for fear, a Nobel Prize for hatred, a Nobel Prize for racism.” Most recently, a comment he made on a radio program has come to light, in which he called a female lobbyist a “K Street whore.”

This predictable hatred won him the Ed Schultz seal of approval: “He’s a great presenter.  We need more of that guy on the floor.”

There is no doubt Grayson’s rhetorical record is sickening — sickening enough to put off a “progressive” Congressman — and there is no doubt it is exactly that rhetoric that endeared him to MSNBC. The question is: Is Alan Grayson really a rageaholic or is he auditioning for his own MSNBC show (maybe Ed Schultz’s low-rated time slot?) once the voters in his swing district throw him out?

What do you think?

I think it would take more than one fry to complete this Happy Meal!

That proves Weiner is a conservative in some respects. 🙂

Saying “some” respects instead of “one” respect make you liberal– in at least ONE respect!

Grayson is an obnoxious representation for the State of Florida; Grayson’s diarrhea of the mouth is unconscionable! I will personally campaign against this bully getting re-elected; I speak Spanish and Portuguese as well, I swear I will go against this disrespecting liar. He too was elected by all the bogus ACORN ballots; that will not happen again. When did it become in vogue for people in Congress to treat us constituents as idiots and stupid. Where does this loudmouth get off thinking he’s doing us any favors?

    Me estas oyendo, inutil?

I can’t believe what this guy has turned into.

Prior to his “die quickly” rant, I only knew him for his grilling of Bernanke, and loved him for it!

Such a shame that the guy turns out to be a clown.

How does a moron like Grayson get elected? But, I guess if Obama, after telling everyone the constitution ain’t working right and that he was gonna make your electricity rates necessarily skyrocket then anyone can get elected no matter what they say. I am trying to think of some really screwy wacky promises and threats I can make that will get me elected to office…hmmm…how bout….I will wreck the economy while getting as much as I can and will make sure you slackers and clingers working for a living give up some of your ill-gotten gains.Vote fo’ Me!

Grayson must think he is Charlie Rangle or Barnie Frank, elected from such a liberal district it does not matter what he says. I think he will find out that he is wrong in that belief.
