Yet Again Rush Limbaugh Plays the MSM For Fools

October 28, 2009
matthews olbermann

Two MSNBC anchors reaffirm their membership in the Humorless Left.

Don’t you hate it when everyone in the room gets a joke and you don’t?  And because you don’t get it, you end up becoming the joke itself?  Well MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews are famous for that.  These are the guys in school you would dare to do stupid things just to see how gullible they are.

On Monday Rush Limbaugh reported on his radio show about a fake college thesis attributed to a young Barack Obama.  Later in the show he revealed the thesis was satire.  He then went on to say that even though he knows it is a fake quote – he stands by it.  Watch the reactions of Matthews and Olbermann.

Here’s Chris Matthews in near disbelief at the gall of Limbaugh:

And here’s Olbermann on the same night – using Rush’s quote as proof he was the “worst person in the world”:

Limbaugh: “But we know he thinks it…We know how he feels about distribution of wealth…so we stand by the fabricated quote because we know Obama thinks it anyway”.

Matthew and Olbermann both tore into Limbaugh for saying that.  Olbermann names other conservatives who fell for the thesis story but were willing to pull back, but not Limbaugh.  Matthews shook his head in shame as he said,

“You can’t beat that.  Did you hear that?”

Olbermann and Matthews are completely clueless that Limbaugh is making an obvious joke.  You would think these guys missed the whole story the fake racist quote.  It was only a week or two ago that the whole world began to attribute false quotes to Limbaugh about thinking slavery wasn’t such a bad thing.  Many commentators attacked him with reckless abandon based on those alleged remarks.  However, when they found out the quotes were fabricated, many stood by their attacks.  Why?  Because they knew Limbaugh was truly a racist at heart — even if they didn’t have any evidence to prove it.

One of Limbaugh’s greatest talents is to make jokes in such a way that media leftists completely miss it. Then they talk about him for the next news cycle.  He plays them for fools and gets to mock them the next day. In fact, he did just that on his radio show yesterday.  When are these guys going to learn that they are pawns for the enjoyment of conservatives everywhere?

It’s not just that he jokes on em. He often then goes on to describe, in detail, exactly how they’ll react, fall into the trap and (re)reveal themselves as utterly clueless.

‘I know what [the media] is going to say about me saying this….’…next day, they say it.Not that the Moron Stream Media ever quotes those bits. Then later in the news cycle day(err..week..or whatever), the MSM get some daylight shown on em. Then, well…I always love it when Rush accurately predicts their 2nd response. Which is usually mindbogglingly more insane than their 1st attempt.

It’s just extra sad when ya pointout live landmines to someone, then watch(not because you don’t want to help, but they act as they deliberately walk into them.

So Rusky gets punked because he does not fact check (Not the first time)? Wow, what a surprised.

Oh, and when contronted that he was punked, he defended himself by saying “we stand by the fabricated quote because we know Obama thinks it anyway” (Yeah good try to save face, what a loser)

After so many years of mis-labeling and mis-characterizing others he gets smacked down by the NFL “Not For Limbaugh”. Poor little Rusky his feelings are still hurt, way to go NFL, great job!

How anyone can support this drug-addicted, would be in jail or at least spent some time there if he weren’t rich, big, fat idiot is beyond me. Let alone Paul.

He lies so much even his supporters don’t know when he’s telling them.

Actually, he has lost a lot of weight. Oh, and he has overcome his drug addiction. (I guess you do not know too much about him.) It is too bad that you do not actually listen to his words because if you did you might find him to be pretty funny.

Mike, you ever heard of rehab? That’s where Rush went, and as for a you and I know he has not relapsed. That is more than can be said for many of the heroes of the left.

Tom, are you SURE Rush hasn’t relapsed? Did you notice how animated Limbaugh was on Leno’s show? It was like he was on speed. Now we know the secret behind his drastic weight loss, amphetamines.

Mike, it looks like you’re the pot calling the kettle black. You look like you could use a little Nutri-system yourself.

Paul, you apparently mean the MSM and Montana and Mile…

Gee, Mike, I really can’t name anyone who went to jail for becoming addicted to prescription pain killers because they initially got them for being in PAIN. Rush would have had to have a cell next to Brett Favre if memory serves me correctly. Being rich occasionally keeps people out of jail, but being an idiot is generally not a help. As for the other quality you ascribe to him, Rush’s current picture, unlike the one purposely used by MSNBC, would suggest that you are a poor candidate to use that insult.

Limbaugh’s satire is part of the reason why Rush wasn’t allowed to buy into the Rams.

  9. October 29, 2009 9:43 am

For the MSM in particular, and liberals in general, self-delusion is a vital defense mechanism. Something akin to hysterical blindness, I imagine. If they were to suddenly “see the world” as it really is, they wouldn’t be able to live with themselves. For them, it’s better not to see, than realize how lame they really are.

  10. October 29, 2009 9:49 am

Rush is diabolically clever, and a national treasure.

      • October 29, 2009 11:53 am

Thank you for illustrating my point.

But far be it from me to spend time defending Rush–he’s perfectly capable of doing that himself. Besides, he’s going to have to pay me if he wants me to do PR for him(my rates are reasonable). After all, I am, like Rush, a professional. And it’s not an unfair proposition if you consider he makes more money than everyone on this blog combined–something I bet gripes you to the center of your very being.
