Educating the Left: Here Are Some Real Hate Signs

November 7, 2009

This is racism, huh?

Before Keith Olbermann accused Rep. Michelle Bachmann of fomenting a rebellion, MSNBC’s David Shuster had already hiked the old hyperbole trail. Sitting in for Ed Schultz on The Ed Show, Shuster insisted the rally opposing President Obama’s socialized medicine bill “had all the trappings of a proverbial orgy of bigotry, racism, anti-Semitism, and hate!” In fact, one sign alleged contained “a reference to right-wing claims that the president is secretly a Muslim terrorist!” (Emphasis Shuster’s.)

As usual, he could not produce these references to racism, anti-Semitism, or Obama-secretly-got-Islamic-terrorist-training-ism. Even the Huffington Post with its “12 Most Offensive Signs from Bachmann’s Tea Party” found only one sign (a reference to Dachau) that was over-the-top. Despite the underwhelming nature of his evidence, Shuster pumped up the hate.

In a panel discussion about the economy minutes later, an enraged Bill Press challenged Republican Ron Christie, “You show me one sign that any Code Pink protester ever had that matches that disgusting stuff we saw yesterday in front of the U.S. Capitol.”

I’ll see ya and raise ya. A few years ago, I put together a page for FrontPage Magazine featuring some of the most disturbing signs “peace” protesters had carried up to that point. Here a few images from that cache:

Despite the Left’s best efforts to paint middle American anti-socialists as extremists, the fringe were out in force at the “peace” marches, so often addressed by Congressional Democrats. Aside from the protests’ organizers — International ANSWER, United for Peace and Justice, and Not In Our Name — there were certain conspicuous participants:

Not long ago, John Perazzo pointed readers to a source of more recent signs, nearly all calling for George W. Bush’s assassination. (As I have noted, the Left regularly implored someone to kill President Bush in cold blood.)

Again, here are the Huffington Post‘s 12 Most Offensive Signs.

The disconnect between the media’s coverage of these two rallies make Ron Christie’s words seem prophetic:

These are normal Ameircans, and this is where the Democrats act at their peril. You are gonna find Democrats thrown out of office — you’re going to be able to put them in a phone booth next year — because of the disgraceful and the condescending manner in which they treat normal American citizens who elect these people into office.

I hope that Christie is right.

‘FAIR & BALANCED’ eh? ‘tit for tat’ and all that jazz? There is one BIG difference between what the protesters pictured here WANT and the TEA PARTY and TOWN HALL PROTESTERS WANT….and it is this….

“Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom; socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude”. — Alexis de Tocqueville,

Ben, Ben, Ben….You’re disputing Leftists with facts. Come know, haven’t you learned? That makes you a racist, tin foil hat looney. Although a picture is worth a thousand words, studies have proven that a Kool-aide addiction directly results in the destruction of grey matter associated with logic, deductive reasoning, and visual perception. Therefore, your pictures are directed at zombies who, if they could understand the images you have posted, would still not connect them logically to your valid argument. I wish you luck. If you need the number to a good drywall guy I have it. He fixes all of my walls after I’m done banging my head on them. He said business has never been better. His peak call times are after the network news.

When a party stoops so low to use the poor to carry signs against democracy, it is time for all of us to revolt and remove the political virus from the halls of Congress with an injection of common democratic principles.

I suppose you’re what passes for a moderate — dither about what side of the bed to get up on, puzzle over which pant leg to put on first, eat your pablum, and avoid analyzing an issue by lumping everybody under the same rock. Your posting handle suits you.

You will never see these signs on the SGT. Schultz show or any of the Lame stream media. They have sold there souls to the left. Bill Press is one of three people I have stated if I ever had the oppertunity if he started yelling with his lying mouth at me I would punch in the nose.

One mistake, and they’d loose their jobs, then you may get your chance to throw the punch when they thrust a cup at you in the bowels of Penn Station.

I don’t know whether to laugh or to cry.

The Left is whining about some barking puppies on the Right while it refuses to acknowledge the rabid wolves on their end of the deal

Take heart friends. Exposing the Left is an ugly business. But I believe their self-righteous facade is slowly crumbling. And what we are finding underneath are the very people whom they accuse the Right of being. Truth isn’t always pretty.

Yup, I agree those sign are petty hateful. But there is a HUGE diffence, the hatefull signs at Rep. Michelle Bachmann’s had several elected members of the GOP in attendence. So, it’s perfectly acceptable to assume they endorced them.

Thanks very much for a review of all the great pro-democracy, anti-war, truly pro-life signs of the last few years. What you wing-nuts don’t get and I doubt will ever understand is that you bear the most responsibility for the mess we’re in. First, it was your great leader, Ronald Reagan, truly a creature of Wall Street, who will forever be remembered for his wise insight that “Government is the problem” and you did your best to make certain that government would be the problem. Then, your pushing the idiot Bush onto us with his warmongering and deregulation of everything in sight to maximize profits for the chosen few. You almost succeeded in ruining social security! You had a chance to show us your mettle and you failed miserably. Hopefully, and it does seem to be happening, the American people are getting off the Kool-Aid and realizing how far we’ve wandered from reality. One last point, the ignorance, xenophobia and, yes, racism that’s been evident at your gala tea party events is self evident, but you will continue to stay in denial. Fortunately, demographics is not on your side. Hey, it’s never too late to repent.

From that post I can only conclude you live in never never land probably with Michael Jackson refu7sing to grow up. Do not look back but the tide is turning against you and your kind people are waking up to your scam and found you and your messiah lacking. You truly are a joke.

Although I do find it funny how these nuts can smear these protesters as racists so unabashedly while the Democratic Party was the proud home to Jim Crow for 89 years.

Please don’t use facts in your arguments against the leftists. It only makes you a racist zealot. Try manufacturing a snarky tu quoque like Alan. Base it entirely on internet lies and leftist blog talking points. You know, dumb it down. Then, espouse your point in an arrogant, matter of fact tone. Try to use big words that start with x’s. That just might get you to the big show, a blogpoint on the Huffy post! And, to borrow from Mr. Hampton, the majority of Neverneverland’s inhabitants can enjoy a refreshing commentary with their double mocha latte.

His name is also appropriate: Levanthal. The same last name as the union slime from ACORN who called Beck a racist off air for disagreeing with him.

I loved that episode. Also, the slimeball asked one of Becks’ producers out with a “Joey bag’o donuts” “yo, what’s ya numbha” line! LOL
