Comment of the Day: No More Mrs. Nice Conservative…

November 9, 2009

fox1

From “Peachey” on my Help Save Fox post:

Far too long have Conservatives remained quiet, hospitable, tolerant, desiring peaceful dialog. This has to end in order for our voices to remain public in any form. The attempt to silence Conservatives and those that oppose Obama is growing and evolving into a full-on war on dissent. It is time to put up our dukes and take them on with a vengence. I for one am disappointed and angry with Conservatives speaking softly and not vigorously confronting what is wrong and detrimental to our country. If we do not unite on this one point, our voices and the voices of our children will be forever silenced. To hell with being “nice” and “courteous” to those that show no niceness or courtesy. It is time for Conservatives to speak with wit and wisdom in exposing the truth and most of all to do it with a sharpness and clarity that bears no resemblance to waivering, indecision or compromise of values. It is possible to be courteous to those that give courtesy. It is possible to be nice to those that are nice. But, when lies, deceit and rancour are hurled at us, we must stop it cold. To listen to Michael Steele talk was an embarrassment. He did not confront the core points of Matthews argument. This was a courteous abdication based on a gentleman’s point of disagreement viewpoint. Oy veh!!!!! It is time to stop the steamroller of the white house and the lame-stream media from running over us with our permission. Dialog is a centerpiece and foundation of our society and government. Dialog is no longer in play with the Progressives. They have assumed a supreme position by us abdicating our role in the governing process. It is time to step on some toes, and not apologize for it. When open and fair discourse moves back into public arena, then the approach can be modified.

    Suggestions for Tea Party members.
    1. Go to next congressional town hall meetings of the congress rats who voted for government health care. Wait until an appropriate moment when no SEIU thug is looking and throw your shoe. If there’s a bunch of Tea Partiers there, have them stagger when the shoes get thrown. Keep em guessing! Suggest using lightweight flip flops to avoid lawsuits or arrest.

    2. If your congress rat is the type that uses police to remove out of order questioners out, have your group coordinate such that they’re having to throw someone out every two minutes or so. Keep them on their toes and be sure and video it!!

    3. Most conservatives work for a living and therefore have some dispossible income. Contribute as close to $1000 as you can to a congressional conservative, possibly not in your district, who has a chance of upsetting a congress rat. Some kind of Tea Party website to direct this kind of giving to the appropriate conservative/libertarian candidate (the ones with a chance) would be nice.

I am a 22 year old University student at the University of Toronto, in Ontario, Canada where the Toronto Raptors represent in the NBA, the Maple Leafs represent in the NHL, and the Toronto Blue Jays at the Major League down in the US of A.

My university is dominated by obsequious moral relativists that give an embarrassing attempt to practice the discourse between opinions at universities. The professors claim to be democratic and open; always notice some key words used by almost every 100y1 course lecturer (first year course) codes at UofT) such as ‘pluralism’, ‘multiculturalism’, ‘cultural diversity’, etc ..

I am only a first year student but I cannot believe the complete lies that get propagated throughout the social science and surprisingly even in the sciences.

Anyway, when I will have a solid record with a consistent high average I will remove my sheepsclothing and show the conservative inner wolf that I am. I have had enough seeing moral relativism and intellectual garbage bowing down to evil tyrants. It is time to take back the free world !!

Thank you NewsReal and all the people who expose the truth !!

    God Bless America

It’s the liberal’s worst nightmare. Conservatives who fight back. Now if we can only get the GOP solidly behind this. . .

    • November 10, 2009 4:35 am

Get the GOP behind this? The GOP? Forget it. They are too concerned with big tentism… And they are one-half of the two party system that has lead this country into the wilderness.

The GOP has not impressed me in the last few years and I would not count on them. We are not united and as long as we have GOP’ers throwing their support behind Scozzafava (NY 23rd) we are screwed. Oh and Newt’s explanation was that he was misled and did not really know her-great…..

Very interesting- and a great note from Peachey! I am getting the impression that increasingly, women are getting riled up, and I’m so glad to see it! Let’s keep it going! I totally agree about the Republican Party, although I sort of worry about dividing our power, but they have been SO vacuous in the past few years. I became a Libertarian some time back, and usually voted Republican, but when even Newt sounds PC, maybe it’s time to rethink what little effect my vote may have. Don’t forget, Ayn Rand was a woman too, and her voice is still inspiring millions fifty years later.

          Betty Boop,
Women are alarmed at what our children will face and be forced to endure due to the insanity that is epidemic in Washington. Never forget that the most hard core enemy will be a mother in her fight for her children. Don’t allow yourself to demote the importance of every single vote and voice. We don’t need the GOP. When we raise our voices they will either come along and join in or fall by the wayside (as it should be). We do have a two party system that functions resonably well as long as the party represents the voices of the people.Currently, neither party represents the American public. It is infused with corruption and self-centeredness that presents a grave threat to our Republic. So, put on your running shoes and decide to confront that which is wrong and detrimental to our country. And yes, you just may have to raise your voice and get dirty. I have made the decision that this will be necessary to get back my country from those that seek to destroy it.Until this country regains a focus for it’s citizens, we will have to show the strength and stamina to make it right.

You’ve hit the nail right on the head. I found myself chuckling at the zombie media’s bewilderment after 9/11 as to why women were so hawkish. I thought, had they never heard how the most dangerous animal in the wild is a female with young to protect?

    Great comment Peachy!
I too made a vow no more nice-girl reaction to death and destruction of our Constitution and liberty, and have been an activist for doing the right thing for the right cause ever since.
    Here is the thing…
Both party’s are THE SAME…no matter what rhetoric they deliver. Did you know John McCain was on Obama’s short list for VP? That is only one minor example, but dont take my word for it, RESEARCH!

When you listen to their rhetoric…THEN watch what they DO, watch how they VOTE as YOUR Representative. Are they ‘speaking FOR you on your behalf’ ? …or just doing the same ole, same ole lockstep dance?

No one can watch C-Span and not come away with knowledge of ‘who you can trust’…unless your dumb, numb and dont want to see or hear…like our comrades in Congress…or those in our neighborhoods and families.

It is imperative to know who you are and what you want as a person and citizen, and if you have any doubts, some serious Soul-searching is advised.

It was a great comment. It started many years ago when the left started preaching about how mean spirited the GOP and the conservatives were and some idiots really believed it. It culminated in 2006 where the Republicans tried to out democrat the democrats on several issues amnesty being the top one and then followed up by selecting a rino as the Republican candidate. Steele has got to stand up in the medias face and call them out for the moral cowards they are.

Um.. lets see.. Because the Republican Convention are acting more and more like the Nazi National Convention. Demanding people think like them, have the values of them, and if you don’t then you are less than human and do not deserve the rights and privileges of any other “acceptable” person. Fox News it not worth saving. Its a Republican Propaganda Machine, thats it. Weather you realize it or not.. The people who call themselves Republicans in Washington are not the same as the people sitting in their homes who call themselves republicans.

Burn Fox News headquarters to the ground.. Lynch mob Nancy Grace, Bill Oriley, Rush, Glen Beck and the rest.

Charge Bush with treason and horrific crimes against the American people and put his ass to death publicly.

We all thought we won the war against the Nazis, nope.. they just became American Republicans.

I believe this is one of those comments that violates the commenting guidelines but is allowed nonetheless. A shining example of the intellectual prowess possessed by the average liberal troll. Note that the commentors claims are supported by a plethura of facts. They are in no way hyperbole, or inflammatory. Perhaps this is a cut and paste job from failblog or the huffy post? I congratulate you on your inclusive, clearly open minded liberal attitude sir. I’m sure that you’re sure that you speak for a majority of Americans.

Unfortunately we has to stay with a two party system. Our system is set up to work that way and anytime a third party is on the ballot the Demoncrats win! We have to take control of the GOP! Force them to uphold conservative values and force them to stop nominating dems in pubs clothing!!!

To do this we have to work at the local level, stop complaining and start doing!

Both parties are to blame. The Republican machine was on a 7 year witch-hunt against Bill Clinton when he was in office.

I was amazed that the author actually said “Far too long have Conservatives remained quiet, hospitable, tolerant, desiring peaceful dialog.” Nothing could be further from the truth! In fact, both parties resort to this juvenile behavior which essentially guarantees partisan politcs. It’s an endless battle that seems to grow over time and nothing good gets accomplished.

If we are stuck with a 2 party system then so be it. However, we can go to the polls and vote all of the incumbents out. I think then they would get the message. Along the way we can take away all of the perks, pay, and benefits they have voted to themselves. How about outlawing all of the influence peddlers in Washington who get rich at the taxpayers expense. Perhaps then we will begin to get true public servants who wish to do well for our country. How many of our ‘elected representatives’ are millionaires? Do you think the majority of them (both parties) are really interested in doing what is right?

It’s time to stop this infantile fighting over Democrat & Republican politicians and get these clowns out of office. Today’s politics is nothing but a growing cancer on this country!!

My husband asked me last night what I am going to do about this. I think its time I got a microphone, or maybe a bull horn, and stood on the West steps of the Captiol and gathered others. We need to be vocal, visible and gather others, and get face to face with those oppressing us. It is not enough to respond to blogs. The left is well funded and organized for action. Those who wish to oppress us must be met and defeated.

Thanks for a post that addresses my frustration! I’ve started at home. Tried to talk with my “friends” here in sunny CA, and have lost most of them. Have been accused by some, of “hating Obama” and being by implication a RACIST when I question the Progressive agenda. Some of my (now ex) friends have made the Hadj to DC and met the prez, they are so enamored. I asked them a simple question on an obvious issue, a few months ago, really in an attempt to understand the mindset: To what end is our Honduras policy directed? Got a ‘Have to consult my sources and get back to you on that one” answer, but that was the last answer. Then I sent some relatively benign emails–forwarded some info–and was told I was a racist. I have to admit, I feel isolated. Surrounded by libs, and scared and powerless in a district “represented” by Barbara Lee. It’s an uphill climb, I get scoffed at for being an “alarmist” and “obsessed,” even by those I thought were close friends. It’s hard to hide my true feelings even with my clients, but I must to survive!. In the time alloted to me before the Small Business Eradication Act gets passed by the Senate, I figure I need to earn a living.

… but I must to survive!”

Small business then becomes the property of the state…possibly a resource to trade for national debts. When the European revolutions took place two hundred years, ago, the avalanche took place to turn things on their head, and privileged positions were given to enlightenment, science and renaissance and a charter was established to enable some causes and a charter for disabling others, also. The new authorities could anoint, ignore or render unworthy. It has been twenty years since the Berlin Wall, an example of “social justice” and privileged authority “knows best,” fell. History will probably reveal that we accepted the privileges given to enlightenment, science and renaissance, which suggests that God should live up to our standards, and evolved into property of the state. Whitaker Chambers saw it coming in his book “Witness.” Before it is too late, we need to rethink enlightenment, renaissance and science and take a stand for what we know we believe. We need friends and neighbors who believe as we do to help, because the task is greater than any one of us. To stand up takes courage and old fashioned honesty: “Things I Value Never Change.”

  15. November 10, 2009 12:42 pm

It’s time to forget the GOP; either they come on board with conservatism or we form our own party that can call a spade a spade. Political correctness is really a sham and a Democrat tool to suppress speaking the truth about their actions and their policy of bringing the country down to the immoral, sickening and disastrous European and developing world level. Was it not Europe that rewarded Obama for doing nothing by giving him the Noble Prize? That has to stop. And now is the time to stop it with their perfidious Obama in the White House.

During the primaries this election cycle I broke out of the Democratic party claptrap that believes that it is party above everything. I was so disgusted with the whole picture that I changed my affiliation to Independent after being a dedicated Democrat for over 30 years. I did not become a Republican because I can’t see a whole lot of difference in the parties these days.

I speak my piece, comment on blogs and attend tea parties and every meeting that I am able. I’ve lost a lot of friends? by what I have to say these days, but what the hay, I have to live with myself.

    ravious,
Thank you for proving my point in a particularly smart-ass way. What’s wrong honey pie? You looked into the Lefty mirror and did not like what you saw. It is always amazing that the qualities that one hates the most are those that they themselves already embrace. You haven’t heard anything yet. American’s are growing increasing angry and organized (G_d forbid) against the lunacy that infects our government (both Republican and Democrat). It is a cancer and the malignacy has spread throughout society strangling and killing of the values and freedoms that I hold dear. My anger is focused at any source that finds solice in pathological lies and deceit. So, I suggest that you shut up and hold on tight, it’s going to be a bumpy ride for the Left. There are those of us that have not given up, rolled over and played dead.

    David,
I agree with you that it both parties. I apologize for not making that clear. I was aiming my anger at ALL that hide behind lies, deceit and deception. This is a cancer that is throughout both the Democrats and Republicans. It is difficult to view any politican as being honest. The hubrus and dishonesty that we see every day is taking a toll on the American people. We have become slaves to the employees that were elected to office. I for one will not miss a vote to jetison these fools out of our lives. Unfortunately for many of them that have never had a real job, they will probably end up on welfare and still be a millstone around our necks.
