Bravo to freedom fighter Phyllis Chesler for her robust, intelligent and brave performance on Lou Dobbs this evening. In a face-off with Nation columnist  John Nichols about whether the Fort Hood tragedy can be called “terrorism,” Chesler made the crucial points that Hasan was a jihadist, that there is an ideology of radical Islam that is at war with this nation, and that the U.S. Army simply has to become a “politically correct free zone” if it is to protect not only this country but also the lives of its own troops.

Chesler was also, as usual, on target by levelling criticism at President Obama for his failure to even mention the reality of Islamic jihad in his Fort Hood speech today. As she emphasized, it is crucial to name the enemy we are fighting — which the Obama administration is still to do.

Nichols, meanwhile, faithfully toed the Leftist Party Line, shamelessly engaging in Jihad-Denial — a mutated carbon copy of the Gulag Denial that the Left maintained throughout the Cold War, and continues to maintain till this day. David Horowitz has masterfully dissected this phenomenon on NewsReal today.

When all was said and done, it was clear that the Chesler-Nichols match was a no-contest, as Chesler, a renowned scholar,  made mince meat out of the leftie lightweight on Dobbs’  program. (Clue for Nichols: Trying to deny the existence and evil of Islamic jihad does not make for an effective argument).

Let’s everyone give props and a special shout-out to Dr. Phyllis Chesler, a courageous warrior for freedom who is fearlessly battling jihadists and their apologists on the frontlines in our culture war today!

The government needs to protect us by closing down or burning down the mosque’s, preaching jihad. The Iman’s should be charged and jailed, while waiting for trial. American’s need to know what is happening to our country. A line now needs to be drawn. Don’t hold your breathe.

Maybe Mr.Nichols will join Evan Thomas in hoping fervently that it was a deranged Baptist or Methodist that did the shooting. I feel sure these people will advocate the profiling of any Catholic priest that might be trying to board aircraft.

The thought that CNN has not sent Lou Dobbs packing off to Fox News is an encouraging sign.

She was reasonable and calm while her opponent was sweating it out, praying for his ordeal to be over.

Just as the Pro-life movement will get no where because PC will not allow the Churches, or the should be effective organizations, to call Abortion what it is, cold blooded premeditated MURDER – we “Kill” chickens, that is not what we do to yet to be pushed out of the womb babies – And, by the same means, PC keeps us from printing and telling the truth about the Koran which clearly shows that Allah is the God of Terrorism – and no one dares to say this truth: The Koran clearly advocated the murder of innocent people. It is obviously a book a murder. No one anywhere will say “Murder” though clearly that is what it is this ‘Bible” recommends. What would happen if someone with enough of a public platform would call it what is certainly is, Why, I give you 10 to 1 they would be Murdered. Why? Because that book of murder highly recommended it, and even rewards it with great sex with magical angels. How could they not be Murderers, those terrorists savages?

I am a fan of Chesler, for surviving personal tribulations similiar to my own as well as her professional accomplishments. Dobbs practically ignored her, was dismissive, and I was unable to translate what the heck she was talking about-“I work with Muslims” and Islamaphobia is not the same as Islam. Please tell Phyllis that even Muslims cannot distinguish where the lines are between jihadism and islam(ism)and ya know why? There are no distinctions-go reread your Quran. The Islamists cry foul if you pick out suras clearly calling for jihad and naming infidels etc. plus no one ever discusses that the Quran cannot be read literally, despite what muslims like to tell everyone, Quran-allegedly given to Mohammed by the angel Gavriel over many years, must be read along with ‘hadiths’, which are decades-long collected anecdotes from close associates, followers, then family, then descendents…then I heard it from so and so. When we collectively wonder why Muslims dont repudiate or stand up in anger against ‘terrorism’ or whatever responses we are seemed canned-Islam is a peaceful religion, these are distortions of the ‘true religion’ it is because Muslims themselves do not learn, they practice as their parents may have handed down to them-it is such a bag of gobbledy-gook. BTW, if you’;re still reading, Major Hassan was clearly making what he considered ‘jihad’ and in Islam this is NOT considered insanity, so to judge this act by Western standards is a waste of time and that is why we continue to screw up in all Mid-East issues. Apples and oranges.

John Nichols wants everyone to believe that just because Maj. Hassan referred to himself as a “soldier of Allah” and a jihadist doesn’t make it so. Just because Hassan had been spouting jihadist philosophy for years does not mean that he actually believed what he was saying. Afterall, Maj. Hassan did not really know himself. I have to wonder what universe Mr. Nichols lives in.
