Rachel Maddow can see a Talk Radio Show From Her House

November 13, 2009

In my other capacity as a conservative talk radio re-capper, I’m obliged to keep “an ear” on goings-on over at the left side of the dial. Luckily, Radio Equalizer Brian Maloney listens to leftist talk radio (such as it is) so the rest of us don’t have to.

Yesterday, Maloney caught MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow describing herself as a “talk radio show host” (audio here) — which is strange, because she hasn’t hosted a radio show for about a year now.

It’s clearly just a goofy slip. I certainly wouldn’t call it “resume padding” a la Ed Schultz.

But here’s the point: leftist “media watchdogs” and the liberal media never let conservative public figures forget it when they make mistakes and misstatements, no matter how minor. Sometimes they even harp on things those conservatives didn’t even say or do in the first place, perpetuating some urban legends well into multiple decades.

Why do they do it? Because, sadly, it works.

Is President Bush still president? I assure you Rachel Maddow is a Radio talk show host and a mighty good one from my perspective.

And while I am retired, I still consider myself a computer programmer.
Brian was never very good at being a radio talk show host himself, he was fired years ago from radio station KIRO in Seattle and as far as I know he hasn’t found a position yet. Poor man, I think he is jealous.

I’m just glad Fred Savage has a job, no matter what he calls himself now.

HAHA that’s good. I’ll admit when I’ve been beat.

Harmon, if you actually click the links you will see that what passes for Maddow’s “radio show” is an edited audio file of her TV show that is then aired on Air America the next day. That is not a “talk radio show.” It isn’t live, she isn’t there to take calls. If you can’t tell the difference, that explains why you vote Democrat.

“If you can’t tell the difference, that explains why you vote Democrat.”

Not a surpising comment, typical of right wingers. I’ll bet you love Mr.GJG and Brent Smith’s comment above. Always insulting.

Harmon, if you can’t tell the difference…. Really, what is different about D’s and R’s? Need help, well there is nothing different, they all take your money and tell lies. Unless this country wakes up the Socialists or Progressives as they like to be called, will take all your freedoms. Health care, free, nope. More money into the hands of these fools.

She might hitch a ride down to Florida with half the staff at the New York Times so it will closer to Venzuala where they might be received with open arms…maybe.

Harmon, get with the present and stop the usual rhetoric, it’s quite boring and ineffectual.

Distortions and selective facts works for both sides, and they do it, Kathy. This is why free speech for individuals and the press is so vital. Can you imagine getting your news from only MSNBC, never FOX. Only the NY Post and never NY Times.

    Long live competition.

What’s with the butch cut on Maddow? Is she trolling?

Forgot to mention the internet as a news source, the most important source to get ALL sides of a story. Thanks to you and others Kathy.

Kathy is a free speech and press HERO in Canada! Fearless.

Rachel Madcow is one Women I would not like to meet in an ally. She makes the phrase Butch sound weepy .
Lets not use Fairness doctrine or any other stupidities of language the left twists. Lets talk straight as we shoot. This Women? There type are just house slaves to death loving ideology.
Lets call it the “Repressive Doctrine” against Conservatism.
Only Chavez could like this fellow communist. By her ratings no one else does. Beck or Limbaugh sweats more fans, than she can envision.

The Maddow photo is very appropriate considering her cock-eyed view of truth and reality.Or, does a face freeze in this position from spouting so many lies and distortions? Perhaps we can apply for a federal grant under TARP to study this phenomenon.
