MSNBC and Newsweek are only feminist when leftist women are involved

November 18, 2009

On MSNBC‘s “Morning Joe” yesterday, co-host and daughter of Zbigniew Brzezinski, Mika (Brzezinski) talked to NBC reporter Andrea Mitchell about the release of Sarah Palin’s memoir, Going Rogue: An American Life. As one would expect from the leftists Brzezinski and Mitchell, they were hard pressed to say anything even remotely positive about the former Alaska governor.

From the very start of the segment, it was glaringly obvious for anyone with half a brain that both women had to struggle incessantly against their instinctive urge to insult Palin and to treat her with contempt. Although both succeeded in controlling themselves initially, their thin mask of journalistic objectivity slipped off at the moment when Mitchell mentioned the latest Newsweek cover – which features Palin in a sexy, Runner’s World-style outfit:

Instead of condemning the obviously sexist cover, Brzezinski and Mitchell mocked her and proceeded to blame her for Senator John McCain’s defeat to Obama last year, while calling her a liar. In other words, they pulled all the Alinsky-tricks out of their leftist hat.

What makes this particular cover even more interesting is that Newsweek‘s other cover featuring Sarah Palin was also controversial because the magazine’s editors failed to treat her with due deference:

It goes without saying that this cover is quite controversial among conservatives because the leftist magazine normally uses extremely respectful photos of politicians – especially of female politicians. See for instance a Newsweek cover featuring Hillary Clinton:

Or this one:

It never ceases to amaze me that progressive ‘journalists’ forget all about the emancipation of women, gender equality and feminism when a conservative is the victim of sexist attacks. If Mitchell and Brzezinski cared about these issues as much as they like to pretend, they would have wiped the floor with Newsweek for using sexual stereotypes and prejudices to dismiss Palin, whose main sin it is that she is a beautiful and intelligent conservative woman, who is unwilling to sit at home, take care of the kids and cook food for her husband.

So, you’re saying that feminists only support women who’s political philosophies mirror their own? That would logically exclude their entire ideology of any validity. But, what does validity matter to a country who’s moderate populous is mesmerized by the latest inane drivel on during primetime. They have succeeded in dumbing down this population to the point where they can no longer care because they are too stupid to care. Where was NOW during Bubba’s administration? Where is their condemnation of the overt, obvious abuse of women in the middle east? Feminists have marginalized their own importance to society with their gestapo like allegiance to the left. The same left that apologizes for the ONE culture that openly advocates the subjugation of women. The same argument applies to the homosexual culture. Kool-aide is a powerful thing….

You are of course right about the leftist insects on MSNBC. I respectfully disagree about her willingness to be a homemaker, have and take care of her children and cook food for her husband. Her home, five children and a long successful marriage to her high school sweetheart demonstrate that she is willing to be a woman. It is rather a matter of timing and now is the time for her to be the same woman in public life, not a feminista in conservative drag.

I laughed so hard at the description of Newsweek as “leftist” that I nearly fell off my office chair! It is no more so than is Time magazine. Of course, the Right and the white male backlashers – like this writer – have moved the center so very far to the Right that I suppose it is possible to describe such conservative status quo magazines as Time & Newsweek as “leftist”? No – I don’t think so. They are firmly in the Center — with the tea party types like the author of this strange commentary as incredibly far Right outliers.

Those ‘tea-party’ Americans have been doing this a lot longer than Obama being in office.
Please, lady…. TIME, center? Since when?
“Hear her roar” Hillary? You mean that SAP that cried during her campaign? “Women of the year?” The ones that are responsible for the slaughterhouse of babies?
“Far-right?” Maybe America is starting to GET A GRIP, and that chaps your hide…it burns you up, the jealousy is infuriating, is it not? To see that the ‘Dawning of the age of Aquarius’ IS OVER. —–OVER——
White-male hate, sicko feminazi she-beasts fromn the pits of hell, crumbling, like the cracks in Pelosi’s botched face. People are TIRED of the left, tired of ‘females’ like Boxer, who can’t even give a General, his due respect.
Face it Broad………..Your days are at an end.
      You need proof?

Whoa, so tell us how you really feel. I agree with you that the reason they hate Palin so much is that she dares act like a woman. How dare she! She is married to the same man (god forbid she is not sleeping with everyone in Hollywood), has children (remember the planet, she should have had only one and aborted the rest if you listen to the elite), dared to give birth to a child with Down Syndrome (this was the tipping point), knows how to hunt and fish, talks plain english, maintains a household, cleans toilets, cooks meals, carries her kids to school, attends their sporting events, is involved with school activities,is attractive and has a conservative view point. Notice the photos of Hillary Clinton. The younger photo was taken during the time her husband was, well you know, spreading the seed, the other campaign photo was taken while her husband deprived of attention was doing everything he could to bad mouth Obama (yeh, the same one he now supports, rah rah rah!) and garner attention for himself. The difference between Palin and Clinton is obvious. Palin lives in the real world and the Clintons live in a delusion created by their desires of a socialistic America with them in charge and calling the shots. I have concluded that the Progressives hate all “regular” Americans. You know, the ones that go to work, pay taxes, care for their family, some go to church, volunteer (without union authorization), contribute to society (without strings attached), donate to needy causes from their hearts and belief that they are “blessed” and others need their help, get involved in their kids/school, have a strong belief in the foundations of the US and the foundation on which the country was built, and believe that America is esentially a good and honorable country with good people that will strive to make the lives of their children better . This irks Progressives that believe that America is not only flawed, but a burden on the world’s “best interests and survival”. They point to America’s past as the evil that has corrupted the growth and survival of other countries. They are unaware of anything of value or good that has been born of the American ideal or ingenuity. Progressives view America as a cancer infecting the world body and the only cure is radical surgery to cut out the US constitution and Bill of Rights from the core of American society and replace it with a utopian “equity” society based on the distribution of wealth. The Progressives have a new god, their own perverse ideology. As more Americans wake up to this insanity, the struggle will become even more vicious as Progressives attack and attempt to marginalize and quiet the truth. Time and other Progressive rags toe the line and know in their hearts that if they open their collective mouths and defie the Obama administration, their goose is cooked. Being nothing more than useful tools, they attend to their masters will and bow lowly with every BS article they print.

I guess it’s a matter of perspective. I’m sure your old copies of Pravda are proof that Time and Newsweek are, chuckle, “conservative status quo magazines”. Thanks for the comment, say high to the folks at Democracy Now! for us.

Well you’re right about that, TIME is about as lefty as Newsweek, though I’m not sure that they’ve said anything as blatant as when Newsweek’s editor Even Thomas called Obama “sort of God”. Or when he said that Newsweek’s job was to bash President Bush. Funny how they feel differently now that their guy is in office.

As David Rockefeller said (1991): “We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time magazine, and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost forty years. It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subject to the bright lights of publicity during these years. But the world is now more sophisticated and prepared to march towards a world government which will never again know war, but only peace and prosperity for the whole of humanity. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto-determination practiced in the past centuries”.

I’m sure Mika’s daddy can hardly wait to sink his bloody fangs into the neck the nearest conservative (Joe Scarborough).

the constant bashing of Sarah Palin, or any conservative, by Mika, Andrea Mitchell, Nora O’donell, Lawrence O’donell (are they related?), David Schuster, Chris Mathews, Eugene Robinson, Ed Schultz, Dylan Rattigan, Keith Oberman has become so tiresome on MSNBC. A whole network of just one slanted view that if you disagree with the Obama & MSNBC policy you must be an ignorant racist. And they call that a news network…LOL You can’t tell a bit of difference between any of their hosts. It is one agenda…spend, tax, spend more and as a liberal elite media we support it all as we know better than the taxpaying citizen.

Know a ‘FemiNazi’ by their total unconcern for the plight of women outside their deluded ideological spectrum. If she aint left she aint worth spit according to FemiNazi’s like Hillary ‘The Hun’ Clinton and her babbling Marxo-Sapiens sufferagete ilk. Oh yeah, and “A dead baby in, partially outside and just outside the womb is a good baby.”

Speaking of Hillary ‘The Hun’, have you notice how well the Bammer neutralized her from the political scene. Way to go Bam. At least he is doing something right.

When I read about the exploits of Minka, O’Donnell etc…I can see clearly why they are losing viewrs by the thousands every week. They offer nothing but insults and are so arrogant that they TRULY believe that one cannot disagree with their ideology based on merit. It HAS to be racism or stupidity because how can anyone not see the world as they do. These are the same morons who will threaten to move to another country ( Venezuela, since it’s such a model )if a conservative is elected in ’12. Note to Minka, Andrea, Ed ” the village idiot ‘Schultz and company; Please go! Caracas is lovely in the summer. Go see how well free speech works there and for god’s sake, take Sean Penn with you

I’m pretty sure that the NewsWeak cover was actually taken from a photo shoot that was done FOR Runner’s World magazine. I’m also pretty sure that Palin does actually run on a fairly regular basis. And I’m positive that the reason all these leftist sleazebag media whores can’t find anything good to say about her is that she’s WAY hotter than any of them.

The picture that Newsweek had used, was BOUGHT BY RUNNER’S WORLD. Sarah Palin posed for Runner’s World in that outfit, NOT FOR NEWSWEEK. Newsweek will never say that, nor will MSNBC or NBC News, why? They hate Sarah Palin and any conservative woman that is in the public eye. MSNBC and NBC News’ eye is like that of the Eye of Sauron (from Lord of the Rings) they see someone not off their spectrum they send out their rag tad band of ugly Orcs (Olbermann, Matthews, Schulz) to go out and bear their ugly, yellow, and crooked teeth (heh, I guess NBC doesn’t give dental, HAH) and attack them with all the rage and anger in their entire being.
