MSNBC Blames Recession on a Racist, Wall Street Conspiracy; NAACP President Becomes the Voice of Reason

November 19, 2009

The vast, racist conspiracy against Barack Obama is no longer limited to evil 9/12 protesters, Fox News, and those who utter the obviously racist code word “socialist.” According to an MSNBC talk show host, it has spread to Wall Street, which is deliberately prolonging the recession to keep the black man down.

On Tuesday night’s episode of The Ed Show, host Ed Schultz asked NAACP president and CEO Ben Jealous if he agreed America was in recession because “there are maybe some institutions on Wall Street that do not want to see a black president succeed?” Jealous, to his credit, disagreed. (You can watch the question at 4:52 in this video. N.B. how Jealous’s mouth involuntarily contorts into an Elvis lip-sneer when Ed launches into Louis Farrakhan territory.)

Ed Schultz: “Mr. Jealous, I’m going ask you a direct question here tonight, and it has not been talked about in the media, but I’ve thought about this in recent weeks, because the credit should not be this tight as much as the American taxpayer has done for Wall Street: Do you think that there are maybe some institutions on Wall Street that do not want to see a black president succeed, and that’s why the money is tight?”

Ben Jealous: “I don’t think that’s the case. I don’t think that’s the case. I don’t subscribe to those theories…We’ve got to stop focusing on race, start focusing on reality, which is all of us are hurting.”

What a theory: Wall Street has lost billions of dollars in wealth to spite the president. Good thinking, Ed!

This rebuttal of a theory Schultz admitting thinking about for “weeks” is no small story, coming from the organization that blamed George W. Bush for James Byrd’s murder, and that is headed by Julian Bond, who wrotecomic book in 1967 presenting Ho Chi Minh as a freedom fighter and comparing the Viet Cong to colonial Minutemen.

Jealous was right, of course. The economy is bad, and blacks are hit harder than other Americans. That should make every black American think twice about uncritically supporting a job-killing president — who shuffled from Hawaii to Harvard, from Hyde Park to Pennsylvania Avenue — because they happen to share an ethnicity. Not only is that racist; it’s counterproductive. Those who maintain uncritical support for Obama will eventually be forced to seek solace in conspiracy theories spun by pale leftists like Schultz. For the moment, at least some are unwilling to go that far.

How crazy do you have to be to be repudiated by an organization as left-wing as the NAACP has become? Crazy enough to host a show on MSNBC.

“Do you think that there are maybe some institutions on Wall Street that do not want to see a black president succeed, and that’s why the money is tight?” Ed Schultz never misses an opportunity to play the race card. He tries to deflect attention away from the real problem — the failure of Keynesianism and the stimulus package upon which it is based. Interest rates being held artificially low in order for FED member banks to borrow at close to zero and with the economy in recession and stock prices depressed, those banks find the lure of the Wall Street casino more attractive, since returns at the casino are currently much better than lending to small businesses or individuals.

For a greater elaboration on the methods and aims of Keynesism I’d highly recommend a concise online book “Keynes at Harvard” for a shocking insight into the reasons for its influence and dangers …

I agree that there are some underlining factors to make President Obama look bad. Some people will do anything to try to control an agenda. This is no exception. If Wall Street had cared about anything but power they would not have done all the things that they have done to this country and our financial status. For what reason would they do all that they have done other than having control. I am praying that they all are exposed to the deceitful things that they are doing and that they are punished for all the schemes they have done.

So shi, based on your line of reasoning, Obama demanded the stimulus package, and continued the bailout of Wall Street, because he was trying to get the racist, power mongers to like him? Without realizing it you have equatied his courting of the rich and powerful on Wall St. to his foreign policy. If we can just say the right things and be nice enough they will change and our problems will go away.

While I throughly disagree with your premise, I appreciate the insight. It allows me greater insight into the psyche of the One. If nothing else he is consistent.

Shultz, and shi_Light reveal their own skewed mindset with their lack of common sense reasoning. It is the Left that will sacrifice their own citizens if it means achieving power. That’s plain old history. It’s absurd to think of Wall Street as motivated by political power. That doesn’t pay the groceries. I don’t know a single investor, CEO or entrepreneur who wouldn’t throw politics right out the window if it meant prosperity, profits, and a healthy economy.

    Ben, I didn’t understand this:

“That should make every black American think twice about uncritically supporting a job-killing president — who shuffled from Hawaii to Harvard, from Hyde Park to Pennsylvania Avenue — because they happen to share an ethnicity.”

Who is “they”? Obama went from Hawaii to Pennsylvania because he happens to share ethnicity with whom? It doesn’t make sense to me.

Look at the stats and facts:
I am not referring to Recovery.com either, where lies run rampant to disguise the REAL STATS AND FACTS like the false number of ‘jobs saved or created’ or false numbers of ‘unemployed’.

Ignorance is bliss for those not willing to peek outside the box they’re in. For those only listening to either ‘right’ or ‘left’ extremist news is missing the whole picture, and for those who still ‘think’ WALL STREET or Goldman Sachs is not manipulated (like Fannie and Freddie) CHOOSE to bury their heads in the sand.

Socialism is here and now with communism waiting in the wings once all the MONEY MONGERS in Congress bleed the country dry via BILLS created and designed to do just that. If Representatives and Senators were doing their jobs, they would be READING THE BILLS and protesting vehemently, but even those who rant and rave on C Span rallying against BILLS do so to save their own skins for next re-elections.

Americans need to get over ‘party’ dedication and separation, to treat it as is…their is NO DIFFERENCE. GET IT? They are working against you to serve their own needs for money and power with ZERO ‘safety, health, and prosperity’ considerations for the populace.

PLEASE….JUST WAKE UP! Set aside the Kool-aid and take the RED PILL!

MSNBC continues to make racism an issue in order to elevate their ratings, but are making fools of themselves and running out of people who even want to be associated with them.

“They don’t want a black President to succeed” is tired and no one buys it anymore. But MSNBC can keep trotting it out, it just makes them look like idiots.

I can see a tongue lashing coming for what I am about to say . . . but here goes anyway.

As long as the American Negro insists on staying on the plantation the likes of B. Hussein Obama and his ilk will be representative of their beliefs and actions.

I call it the plantation mentality. A black woman that was part of a large panel of blacks on the Glenn Beck show recently called Bam’s style politics . . . wait for it . . . here it comes . . . PLANTATION POLITICS. It is the politics of the massuh taking care of the slaves.

Has anybody noticed that those American Black’s that took the steps to leave the plantation are better off for it. They are well educated and prosperous. Why can’t the Black community see that. Can they all be totally engaged of getting Obama money from Obama’s stash that they can’t see the forrest for the trees.

It was southern Democrats also called Dixiecrats that kept blacks down after emanancipation. It is modern day Dixiecrats, like the guy in black face that resides in the White House that still keeps the black community playing the Step n fetchit, Stepinfetchit role. A vote for a Marxo-Sapien Democrat is a vote for continue Negro oppression.

The term that describes brown to black skin people with tightly curly hair, flat noses and large lips is Negro. The PC police have programmed us to believe that word is an anathema that degrades the black folk. I hate political correctness, and wear my political incorrectness badge with honor. I do not like the term African American unless the person so addressed is from that continent and has been naturalized. Actually, we are all American . . . end of conversation.

The bottom line is that it is not the sort of black sort of white color of this mans skin that most American’s find offensive. It is the Marxist in the word Marxo as in the recent aphorism Marxo-Sapiens that describe most of the progressive Washington establishment that we find offense and disconcerting every moment of our waking lives.

Although I think Colin Powell turned on the political party that promoted and made him what he became based on merit, and I’m not crazy about his plantation politics, he would have made a far better president than the Marxo-Sapiens in office. The truth is, there are some very deserving black Americans that are just as red white and blue patriots as those in the other ethnic groups, who deserve the presidency much more than this Marxist greenhorn.

    B. Hussein Obama like his Dixiecrat predecessor affectionatly known as Bubba, Slick Willie, and der Schleikmeister is not only destroying the country from the iside, but is also making us inconsequential on the world stage.

    Okay . . . FIRE AWAY

    The Turban Torpedo

Reading that you should check out is by Dr. Thomas Sowell. His academics on this very subject is enlightening. He contends that poverty and the economic stall within the black community is part of the Progressive/Left’s core principal of “victimology” and extortion of emotions to bankroll and grow the movement. Without victims, the Progressive theology has no traction or teeth.

In some cases race plays a factor. In Obama’s case, I think It’s more about money and power. Obama is a smooth talking popular president, that means the more likable he is, the more forgivable he is . Obama is part of the largest transfer of wealth in the history of this country, Obama and his bankster friends got away with giving trillions of our tax dollers to those crooks,Mccain couldn’t of pulled it off, only a slick talker like Obama could have done it.The elites uses all races to make them money.Even with a good economy african americans has the highest unemployment rate in the country, so this recession is effecting all races of people. The minorities are always hit the hardest in a recession. If the elites didn’t want Obama in the white house, the super delegates wouldn’t of nominated him over Mrs, Clinton.

Ed Schulz is just a complete idiot. How he talks about ALL Republicans (and he called himself “Republican” in the 1990s, bull he was only just an RINO (R.epublican I.n N.ame O.nly)) is just despicable. He thinks all Republicans haven’t had cancer or pain ever. So being a Republican and my grandfather and grandmother dieing means nothing to this Bigot. Ed Schulz is not only a HUGE idiot, bigot, but he is also a frickin’ conspiracy theorist. Every time I hear another conspiracy theory with ABSOLUTELY no facts, I just roll my eyes and just sigh.
