Obama Lets The Cat Out of the Bag: I Don’t Believe We Can Win

December 1, 2009

On Keith Olbermann, Howard Fineman called the president’s speech “a minimalist defense of the Afghanistan strategy.” On MSNBC and CNN two communist leaders of the Black Caucus, Maxine Waters and Barbara Lee signalled they will oppose the minimalist defense, Senator Russ Feingold carrying on the progressive tradition of sabotaging America’s defense policies has declared he will block funds for the war, and sober supporters of those policies on all cable channels pointed out that if you telegraph your throw in the towel date in advance (as the president did) you only encourage your enemies to wait you out. But the most telling revelation of all came from Fareed Zakaria who had met with the president in the company of a select few journalists earlier in the day. When the journalists queried Obama about the deadline he said that if you don’t set a deadline that’s the same as saying you will stay in Afghanistan forever. But if this is the way you think — the president obviously does — that means that you don’t think you can win. So Barack Obama who called Afghanistan the important war, the war we should be fighting, is already defeated in his own mind. That is a problem for all of us.

Goodness, David, how can you stomach watching those fools. This isn’t a FLINT publication is it? Keep it up and you’ll be incarcerated in Belleview. I know you’ve been through a lot, but that’s pure mental torture. They don’t even let Olberman out but for an hour a day, anymore. Then, too, even his guests are certified nuts.

It is apparent that President Obama understands foreign policy and the war on terrorism less well than I do nuclear physics while building a fission reactor in my kitchen.

After reading your book “Radical Son”, my disdain for Obama and this administration has grown. Please keep us informed as this progresses. I feel that the nation is in peril for the first time in my life. May God have mercy on us all………..thank you for all you try to do………!

Oh my! The bad guys can have a holiday break and maybe tour the world knowing the good guys will be gone in 18 months, when they can come back and upset things. Obama is a fool a real great fool!

Yeah, he really is a sad sack. I am hoping the great American spirit will win out.

if you telegraph your throw in the towel date in advance (as the president did) you only encourage your enemies to wait you out.

Those who watched Obama’s speech in horror keep saying this. But our own experiences with Al Quaeda tell us differently. Waiting us out would require quelling their own hatred for a time. This would be a smart thing for them to do from a strategic standpoint. But our experience in Iraq tells us they have no such patience. They will not wait us out. They smell blood, our blood, in our willingness to give in after a set time period, and are incensed. What they will perceive as a willingness to accept defeat, will encourage them to attack in more and greater evil ways, certain that public pressure will cause us to turn tail and run home all the faster. Mark my words, there will be attacks on children and women and on every place reasonable people would consider “safe” and innocent. They will attack our soldiers on bases, while they eat and sleep, and in the streets as they attempt to build communities and tend to the wounded and dead. The deaths will be ever more public and ever more horrible. This is the nature and purpose of terror as a war tactic. By this politically expedient half-measure , Mr. Obama has guaranteed more deaths of our sons and daughters as well as those of innocent Afghans.

Obama declared the Afghan war as “important” during his campaign. He was patently exploiting the stagnation and reversals in Afghanistan to his political advantage. After being elected as Commander in Chief he tried to ignore his related responsibilities and the war itself until he could no longer do so. Making a decision about how to proceed with the war effort offered him no possibilities for ego gratification, as compared to (for example) the Nobel Peace Prize or winning the Olympics for Chicago. He may be discovering that the Presidency does not offer unlimited ego satisfaction and fringe benefits like those he experienced as community organizer and senator. The narcissistic “I” is beginning to realize that the Presidency is no picnic and that soul-searching and a grounding in moral principles and values is at the very core of being a Leader.

I now have to read his (Obamma) verbal outages rather than hear them, the sound of him preaching his lies and deception ties my soul in kNOts.

Wow! Read this one. It is really good. And this gentleman says it just like it is.

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president. Consult :

By now any Afghan leader at any level (village, tribe, etc.) who has heard about this speech is pulling out his address book and checking out the numbers for his old Taliban contacts and making plans how to be sure to be on their good side by the time that Barack Hussein Obama (mmm-mmm-mmm) hauls backside out of town. Non-Taliban Pakistanis are trying unsuccessfully to wipe away the cold sweat and to plot their courses in the new reality. As to what it means to Americans who understand the implications, well …

Obama was hired to sell Fascist/Socialist snake oil to America. So the Afghan/Paki “war” is an unwanted distraction to be pushed aside as quickly as possible by the Obambi Administration. For now, Conservatives need to stay hard-focused on defeating the Soros-Reid-Polosi healthcare scam and lateron the impeachment of our lying, incompetent narcissist-in-chief. Write your senator a polite, but firm, letter/email urging a “NO” vote on “healthscare”. Issues: no tort reform provision; vague but elastic content, punitive (fines, prison penalties) bureaucratic inefficiency/huge cost overruns (re: the post office, medicare, Amtrak, social security).
