Want To Blog With Us?

NewsReal is looking for more people to blog with us about the cable news shows.

We’re interested in both professional writers as well as those who blog as a hobby. If you fall into either of these categories then please email NewsReal’s Managing Editor David Swindle (DavidSwindle AT Gmail Dot Com.) Please write a brief letter introducing yourself. Please include “NewsReal Application” as your subject. If it appears you might be a good fit for NewsReal then you’ll be given an application to fill out so we can learn more about you.

We’re also interested in those who can contribute in other ways. Not a writer but still want to help? We may have a spot for you. Those who want to regularly donate art, editorial cartoons, poetry, or humorous videos for our apolitical features can also contact David. Those who are interested in scavenging the internet for worthwhile articles (that relate to what we’re blogging about) and especially cable show clips for us would also be useful. If you want to do commentaries about the cable shows by recording yourself on video or audio then we might also have a place for you. If you love NewsReal and want to help us promote the site (perhaps by posting links to our blogs at various sites) we’d also appreciate that. We’re also open to additional ideas if you have them.

NewsReal is also interested in letters to the editor responding to our various posts (if you have something to say which you want to get above and beyond the comments section.) We will also consider Guest Blogs that fit our themes (the cable shows and the debates on the blog.) Please submit these to David with either “Letter to the Editor” or “Guest Blog” printed in the subject line.

NewsReal is only interested in original content. If you’ve written something that has already been published elsewhere and you think NewsReal readers should read it then contact David with a link and a suggested excerpt. (However feel free to email in comments that you or others have made at NewsReal that you think should be either a letter to the editor or a guest blog.)
